"We had - 14 of us, 11 adults three children - a really good week at Borgo Alto. The location is stunning and the space is great. As a former hotel, the accommodation is a bit odd for a big family group - with separate rooms in different buildings, but it worked well. The only thing it lacks is a comfortable lounge area. "We had the best vacation at the villa. It is located in a great spot central to many little towns to visit and of course the beach. Rosolini is a 5 min drive and has everything you need to be comfortable. The villa grounds are beautiful, the pool is incredible, the house is clean and comfy. Gianpaolo was a fantastic host - and so was the little kitty Marmi. "

"It was easy to find the flat and plenty of parking. We stayed at level 3, room no 5. Unfortunately a very strong drainage smell was coming out of the toilet which stunk the bedroom. The curtains won't close. The shower was dirty. We alerted the owner of this who admitted there was a drainage issue in the building that has been causing the smell. He said at 10:30pm at night if we didnt like it we could leave. The next day, despite admitting to the problem the night before he then denied it...

"A beautiful place to stay in the countryside just outside Noto. Rooms were tastefully decorated and there is also a large swimming pool and tennis court and all set in the most peaceful and picturesque setting surrounded by olive trees. Breakfasts and dinners are exceptional and would recommend here to anyone who happens to be travelling down the south of Sicily. Easy to travel by car to lovely towns like Noto, Syracusa and Ragusa to name a few. Amazing stay for 4 nights and the staff so polite and friendly!"
