The ocean views were amazing! The breakfast was consistently delicious. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. We had a small issue with our room (no fault of the hotel) and the manager quickly offered us an upgrade to a beautiful suite. There is access via a walking path to two separate beaches, and many dining options nearby (Guiones is a short 15 minute walk down the beach for more options). Overall a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy the ocean, the sun, and the spectacular sunsets.

The beaches were unobstructed, the room was very clean, the bathroom and shower were excellent. The views are on unbeatable. The location being close to two beaches was excellent. The morning breakfast was very good as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was no exercise room, which would’ve been nice.

Nosara oldest development, this place is quirky and wonderful. Probably the best property in Nosara with a short walk to both Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and uniquely late 1970s architecture.

This is the perfect spot! Large property but you feel as if you are the only one around. Access to two beautiful beaches. Food was great and HILLARY was amazing. Cannot say enough good about Hillary. Cannot wait to return!

Amazing and welcoming staff, great food, clean and well appointed room with super comfy linens, pillows and bed! Slept so great, and with Ocean view room heard the waves whether door open or closed. Loved our stay here! Appreciated the refillable bottles of water, the fridge and hot water kettle. The whole Hotel is gorgeous and right next to two Beaches. This is an older Hotel (didn’t mind or notice) but because of the Conservation Area, they’re not allowed to make further upgrades. Stay somewhere else if you need super fancy, but stay here if you want a top notch, well run Hotel in Nosara! Highly highly recommend!

My family and I stayed in room 7 at Nosara Beach Hotel and the room was clean and nicely decorated, with incredible views of the jungle and the ocean from the balcony. The hotel staff is so kind, welcoming and helpful and if you don’t speak Spanish everyone there is bilingual and speaks excellent English. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, pool was exceptionally clean and so relaxing. We ate breakfast there daily, which was included, and it was all so delicious and the coffee was great. The ocean views from the restaurant terrace are absolutely stunning! The hotel has special access to Playa Guiones and Playa Pelada which was super convenient for our family with young kids. The hotel offers many activities including massages in your room, canopy/zip line tours, snorkeling on Pink Island, and much more. We didn’t have time to take advantage of their activities but we will definitely be back since there is so much to explore. We loved Nosara and this hotel offers the best location for beach and town access and is one of the closest hotels to the ocean. We did have a few ants in the room and one spider in the bathroom but we saw less the longer we were there- but you’re also in the jungle! We saw more insects at our home in Los Angeles than we did here. This hotel was wonderful and I’m so glad we got to stay there for our first, but not the last, trip to Costa Rica!

Close walk to Guiones beach but you have to drive all the way around (16min) to get to Guiones beach and village. The road to La Luna Restaurant should be lighted because the onsite restaurant closes at 4:00. The hotel needs some paint and facade repair. Very cool architecture. We saw a coati at the pool and other guests had seen some monkeys. Family friendly.

Beautiful resort!

We loved staying at Nosara Beach Hotel! The staff was extremely friendly, and the property is beautiful. The beaches were very nice. Food was delicious. Rooms were nice and spacious, and they did such a nice job refreshing the rooms for us each day. My only complaint is the thin walls which allow noise to carry very easily. We had some noisy young kids next to us that woke us up early in the mornings. But thin walls are to be expected for a historic hotel. We would return!
