This unique retreat features lush gardens, recently remodeled rooms with spiral staircases, multiple decks, elegant marble counters, and brass fixtures for the ultimate Nosara surf and yoga experience. Bordering a local jungle preserve at the end of a semi-private road, you enjoy both privacy and easy access to the best restaurants, shops, and a grocery mart, plus quick trail access to some of the world’s most consistent surf. For your security, the home is equipped with a modern security system.
DAILY HOUSEKEEPING & MEAL PREPARATION ASSISTANCE

As part of your stay at Casa Buena Vida, you’ll enjoy the added comfort of daily housekeeping service. Our lovely housekeeper will be at the home each morning to ensure everything is fresh and in order, allowing you to truly relax and enjoy your time in Nosara.
She is also happy to prepare breakfast each morning at no additional cost—a thoughtful touch to start your day off right. If you’re interested in having dinner prepared at the house, this can also be arranged for an extra fee. Just let us know in advance and we’ll take care of the details.

ON THE INSIDE
Designed to comfortably accommodate larger groups, Casa Buena Vida offers:
• Two master suites—each with a king bed, a spacious ensuite bathroom, and a private balcony or patio overlooking the garden, pool, and jungle
• Two additional king bedrooms and a bunk room for extra guests
• A welcoming main house accessed via a garden path that leads you to the kitchen, bunk room, master suites (one on the ground floor and one upstairs via a covered exterior spiral staircase), and three bathrooms
• A flexible living area featuring a cozy flex room with comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV for movie nights, and a desk area for any work you might need to do
Air conditioning is provided in all bedrooms.
In addition, a separate two-level casita features:
• A king bedroom and bathroom on the ground level
• A second king bedroom and bathroom on the upper level (accessible via an exterior spiral staircase)
Each casita room enjoys its own patio or balcony with views of the garden, jungle, and pool.
ON THE OUTSIDE
The property is arranged around a private courtyard at the back, offering shade and stunning jungle views. Relax on spacious, covered patios and balconies equipped with ceiling fans, comfortable furniture, and captivating vistas that invite you to savor your Costa Rican getaway.
LOCATION IS EVERYTHING
Perfectly situated in the heart of North Guiones, Casa Buena Vida is just a 5–7 minute walk to Playa Guiones, where surf conditions cater to all levels. With a network of private trails linking both North Guiones and Pelada beaches, you won’t need a car unless you plan to explore further. Once your reservation is confirmed, our team will reach out to help finalize every detail—from arranging airport transportation and booking activities to scheduling yoga classes, massages, and private chef recommendations.
THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT CASA BUENA VIDA
• Access to the master king suite in the main house is provided by two exterior, covered spiral staircases—one at the front and one at the back. You will need to step outside to enter this bedroom.
• Noise from neighboring restaurants or occasional live music events may be heard until 10pm.
LOCAL QUIRKS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA
While Costa Rica's infrastructure is steadily improving, it's important to note that some things are beyond our control. During your stay, you may experience occasional dust, bugs, and power, water, or internet outages. These are common in the area and part of the experience of immersing yourself in a different country and culture.
If staying connected is essential during your visit, we recommend looking into internet data plans available through your cellular provider. Additionally, please be aware that Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada, and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities, which means construction noise may be present between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. We make every effort to keep our guests informed about ongoing construction that may impact their stay, but unfortunately, we do not always receive advance notice of new projects.
Regarding plumbing, please note that the septic system in Nosara does not allow toilet paper to be flushed (with a few exceptions). We kindly ask that you adhere to this guideline during your stay.
We are committed to providing the best possible experience, but we want to ensure that all guests are aware of these local quirks before booking. Refunds and concessions will not be provided for the above-mentioned issues, as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out before booking.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Kindly note that while we honor our cancellation policy, any processing or payment gateway fees incurred during your reservation are non-refundable in the event of a guest-initiated cancellation, even if your cancellation qualifies for a full or partial refund. This policy does not apply if the host cancels the reservation.
We want to ensure that your stay in Nosara is safe and enjoyable. Like many beach communities, petty theft can occasionally be an issue in the area. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities, so we kindly ask that you take the following precautions during your stay:
Always keep doors and windows locked when you're away from the property and at night. If your sliding doors or windows have security bars, please ensure they are in place. If you cannot find the bars, contact us as soon as possible.

Never leave valuables or personal items unattended when you leave the house, including electronics, identification, and anything else of apparent value.

Do not leave valuables in your car while you’re out, and avoid leaving anything on your front or back patios unattended.

If your property has a security alarm, always set it when you leave, even for short periods of time.

While a security guard is not included with your rental, we can arrange for one upon request. If you'd like to hire a security guard for part or all of your stay, please let us know during the booking process and specify the hours you'd like covered.
Please be aware that, even with these precautions in place, theft can still occur in Nosara. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager are not responsible for any loss of items due to theft.
