There is a downstairs cloakroom and large cupboard to house outdoor coats, buckets and spades, crabbing equipment etc. There is also access to the first floor Barn Bedroom via the second staircase. There is a large, open plan kitchen/dining area with a dining table for six guests and enough pots, pans and other equipment to make you feel right at home! Light fills the room via the French door which opens onto the terraced dining area with large teak table for al fresco summer dining. There is a barbecue and the lawn has reclining chairs for early evening cocktails or lazy Sunday mornings.
Upstairs there are three very spacious bedrooms all with king-size Hypnos beds and each bedroom has its own shower or bath room. The master bedroom is vast and has a beautiful en suite shower room. All of the beds have crisp white sheets and we supply fluffy white towels and complimentary toiletries.
We also supply a comprehensive welcome hamper so that you can relax the moment you arrive. Your holiday can start straight away with a cup of tea and piece of home-made cake, or something stronger if you prefer!

The Coach House - what a great place
We had a wonderful week at The Coach House. The property had everything we needed for our stay with amply space. The enclosed garden was great for our dogs. Lots of walks near by for ‘the girls’ & dogs and lots of golf courses for ‘the boys’. Norwich is just a 30 minute drive away and the street food market is worth a visit.

Excellent property and helpful host.
We had a fabulous week at the Coach House with our grown up family and 2 dogs. Serena was extremely helpful and took delivery of the wheelchair we’d hired for the week for my elderly father who was staying in the Garden House, which was much appreciated.
The Coach house has all the amenities you need, and lovely furnishings. The garden is very secure for the dogs and gets the sun most of the day. It was very pleasant to sit outside on the garden furniture and we made use of the gas barbecue, which the chef said was brilliant.
The location is also excellent, within 20 - 30 mins of Holt, Cromer, Sheringham and the broads, so plenty of days out. Also highly recommend the Banningham Crown in the village, the food was excellent.

Family Christmas
The Coach House was perfect for our family get together, warm, comfortable and full of character. The hosts couldn't be more welcoming and also provided a welcome hamper. Totally dog friendly. Beautiful village pub just around the corner which serves excellent food. Just what we needed and we would highly recommend.
We stayed at the Coach House for a long weekend, just the two of us and our dog and we had the most relaxing time. It's spotless, well equipped and just stunning. We will be back with the extended family!

Short family break.
We stayed five nights at The Coach House. We had a fantastic time. The house is beautifully decorated but not in a way that you feel comfortable and at home.
It is very dog friendly our dogs loved the enclosed garden. Pet throws, crates and treats all provided.
The garden is fantastic. We spent lots of evenings sitting in the sun and watching the sunset. The BBQ is a great addition which we used most evenings.
We hired a day boat in Wroxham and had a great day. We also went to Cromer and Mundesley with the dogs. Also walked at Felbrigg Hall. All a short drive away from the house.
Village pub is very welcoming and the food was good.
No shop in the village but a M and S very close by for milk etc and larger stores dotted around in the towns.
Visited Holt and used the butchers there for the BBQ.
The host of The Coach House is very good at communicating and making sure everything is ok with your stay.
We loved our stay and hope to visit again

A break with three dogs!
We had a good week with our dogs, two of which are getting on a bit now, helped enormously by decent weather. Whilst there are limited suitable off-road dog walks in the village (which is the only reason for slightly downscaling the location), it was easy to take them in the car to a wide variety of excellent dog walking venues, including NT properties, a number of beaches and the Weavers way. The cottage itself met our needs perfectly and we were impressed with the thoughtful provision of items to make our (humans and dogs) stay comfortable. The cottage is very convenient for the village pub where we enjoyed good meals on two occasions. We certainly plan to return at some point.

Lovely Relaxing Stay.
We booked The Coach House for a last minute 4 night stay as the 3 of us needed to recharge our batteries and hoped a change of scenery would help.
Everything was made stress free and easy by Serena. The booking process and pre arrival info was excellent. We had no need to contact her during our stay as her online guidebook covered everything.Importantly though she made it clear that if we needed any “hand holding” we only had to message or ring her. - Perfect.
We had lovely sunny weather so enjoyed our complimentary Prosecco (thankyou) on the terrace but could have been equally happy had it been cold and wet sitting by the log burner in the beautiful ,cosy ,relaxing lounge.
The location was perfect for our trips to Norwich, The Broads and the many beaches and villages.
Suffice to say we arrived tired and somewhat battered by life and left relaxed, happy and rejuvenated by our stay. Thankyou Serena.

A week in the country
This cottage was just amazing; so much thought has been gone to equip it for families and dogs. It is about 8 miles south of Cromer and took us only 20 mins to get to the coast.
The three separate grondfloor rooms were ideal, all had doors opening on to the private secure garden. Even the dogs loved the freedom to roam around the house and garden.
The kitchen was great, plenty of room for all of us at the table and plenty of space around to prepare and cook food. It was very well equipped with good crockery, glasses, pots and pans, utensils and appliances.
The children loved their ‘own’ staircase, their room adjoined the master bedroom which also had access to the other staircase. The other double bedroom was accessed by this staircase too. So lovely to have 3 bathrooms, a real treat.
The walled garden was great, theres a patio area with a generous sized good quality gas BBQ and a lawn which was ideal for 6yr olds cricket.
We all loved our stay and Serena, our host, checked in to ensure all was well. We took away some lovely memories from our family holiday there.

Truly doggie friendly
We had an amazing and super relaxing stay. Everything we had hoped for and such a good set up for our dog too. Completely secure garden (we have a spaniel).
Everywhere we went throughout the stay and everyone was dog friendly, even the butchers in Aylsham who invited him in. Expect everyone to stop and chat to you and your dog.
The cottage was cozy and tranquil and we were provided with the most fabulous welcome hamper, tiger bread (one of our favourites), juice, milk. Cereal and...a bottle of prosecco (also one of our favourites). The dog had his own hamper too, which included treats, bowls, tags, towels, lead, toys.
The app had everything we needed. We used this to help plan trips out but also on our second to last day to find a vet (our dog went lame at the end of a beach walk, we used the app to find the closest vet to the beach we were at. The good news was he was 100% sound by the time we got to the vets).
One one day we left the car behind and walked Weavers Way to Blickling estate, then round Blickling Park and then to Aylsham. Highly recommend this walk and Blickling Park. Aylsham is lovely too, we were very lucky as it was their Christmas light switch on. We then got a taxi back to the cottage, our hot tip is, if you need a taxi book in advance as we nearly had to walk back from Aylsham in the dark (approx an hours walk).
Our favourite beach was Wells, such a large oien expanse of sand, ideal spaniel space.

Fabulous week at The Coach House despite the weather!
We really enjoyed our week at The Coach House. It was easily spacious enough for our pack of dogs and humans and was immaculately clean throughout. The garden is fully enclosed and sunny (when it shone for us, we had quite a wet week!) and the kitchen was easily big enough to accommodate us all getting in each others way during coffee and meal prep, and had all the utensils we needed. Beautifully renovated and full of character, the main bedroom is huge! Having three bathrooms plus a downstairs toilet was a game changer. Highly recommended. Book it, you won't be disappointed.

The Coach House, Norfolk, Banningham
We had a wonderful stay at the Coach House in Norfolk for our daughter’s 30th birthday. It made it even more special as it was dog friendly too. The cottage was clean, cosy and equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect and very peaceful and relaxing whilst still being close to lovely towns and villages and coastal walks. We couldn’t fault Serena the host as she was very responsive to our issues and needs. A couple of teething problems arose and Serena dealt with them quickly and efficiently even with it being a bank holiday weekend and plumbers being difficult to get hold of!
We would highly recommend this cottage and would happily stay again.

Absolutely loved it
All aspects of the Coach house are lovely. Its tranquil and comfortable.
The beds are super comfy and each bedroom having a clean and gorgeous bathroom is a huge plus.
The living room is great for relaxing in, so often holiday houses give the bare minimum and offer very little comfort, however that is not the case here.
There are plenty of restaurants around the property, but also lots of options for take out and supermarkets so something to suit everyone.
The house is perfectly positioned to visit the beautiful north Norfolk coast; we managed to go to a different beach everyday with little more than a 30 minute drive needed. I can honestly say I would rather go back for another week at the Coach House then go abroad. Just the best week!
Serena is an excellent host, and it made for a relaxing, perfect holiday ( and dog friendly makes it so much better).

Perfect Norfolk Cottage
Our second visit to The Coach House which once again provided us with a wonderful place to stay in this beautiful part of the country. Serena the owner goes above and beyond to make sure everything you need is there and responds to any messages/queries promptly.
We were a group of six of six adults, a toddler (so three generations ) and a dog, The Coach House has lots of space, a fantastic level garden (great sunset views) we also loved that all the downstairs rooms have doors opening onto the garden, very welcome especially if the weather is warm like it was.
Nearby restaurant - ‘The Gunton Arms’ comes highly recommended and did not disappoint. Also the sister pub/restaurant ‘The Suffield Arms’ is definitely worth a visit. Lots of stunning coastline - Happisburgh beach is a favourite. Nearby Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall (both national trust) worth visiting (walled garden at Felbrigg is stunning).
So you definitely won’t be disappointed - thank you Serena.

Excellent dog friendly accommodation. Very clean & comfortable with attention to detail. Especially good for the dogs with enclosed garden with plenty of dog accessories.
Accommodation is ideally positioned for touring around Norfolk and is a short walk to lovely village pub.
Really appreciated the accommodation information sent in advanced as it helped plan out our holiday.
Would strongly recommend this or the adjacent property to anyone planning a get away to Norfolk.

Fantastic find
This is one of the nicest holiday homes weve ever stayed in. Serena had thought of everything to make it a fabulous break away. From the moment we made contact, she was exceptionally helpful and considerate at every stage and we wanted for nothing. The house was immaculate, spacious and beautifully decorated. Exceptionally dog friendly and most importantly completely secure within the garden. The location is perfect for exploring all of north and central Nofolk. Will be certain to return as soon as we are able.
