Happisburgh is home to the oldest working lighthouse in the county and the only independently operated lighthouse in the UK. The famous red and white striped lighthouse affords wonderful views of the coast and countryside and in the summer, it is open to visitors on occasional Sundays.

The village offers a shop and a pub serving home cooked food. Half an hours drive away you will find the seaside town of Sheringham which is a traditional town with award-winning family beach, heritage steam railway, a variety of shops selling local produce and many coastal and countryside walks. Nearby you will also find the popular resort of Cromer with sandy beaches perfect for surfing. The city of Norwich is located 20 miles away which offers excellent shopping. Beach 0.3 miles.
