The village has two pubs, both serving food, a shop, fish and chip shop, delicatessen with café, a quaint post office and tea shop and a micro-brewery. The seating bench and sunbeds in the front garden offer an ideal suntrap; here you may be tempted to rest up, read a book, unwind, view the birds and the wildlife on the marshes or simply just watch the boating activity along the river, directly opposite.
Within the Norfolk Broads there are miles of much-celebrated waterways to explore. You can enjoy a trip on the river or hire a boat at nearby Wroxham, the capital of the Broads. A short drive away are the wonderful sandy beaches and dunes along the Norfolk coastline - with coastal walks at Winterton, and seal watching at Horsey. Reedham is equidistant from the historic city of Norwich with cathedral, theatres, museums, shops restaurants and cafés, and the coastal resort of Great Yarmouth with traditional seaside attractions. Reedham’s mainline railway station means you leave the car behind and jump on the train to explore Norwich and the coast. Trains into Norwich take just 13 minutes. Children will love Pettits Animal and Adventure Park, a mile away, the BeWILDerwood at Horning, a treetop adventure park, or Dinosaur Adventure Park at Lenwade. Beach 12 miles.
