「This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.」

「We enjoyed the cottage as it had everything we needed to prepare meals including pots and pans, spices, a lovely kitchen, towels and linens, shampoo and body wash in the shower. We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again!」

「Shimmering Cove was the perfect location for me and my friends to stay at for the weekend. There was plenty of space, activities, and supplies available. The hot tub was amazing and the views were wonderful. We made use of the kayaks, and there was also plenty to do when the weather was rainy. Check in and check out process was seamless. I would highly recommend this property!」

「We only had a very brief stay, alas, but made the most of the opportunity as best we could. A few updates are needed with the introductory welcome materials and equipment information that will be easy but useful to correct. 「If you are looking to enjoy some quality time with friends/family, this place is excellent! We stayed for a weekend bachelor/bachelorette party with 14 people. Beautiful views, near trails (check out the falls near by), plenty of things to do while there, even for those who don’t ski! 「We enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at this nice house. The location on the shore of the Long Lake is fantastic. The house is huge and was good for our large group. 「This spot was the perfect location for a quiet, kid free girls weekend. The property is absolutely beautiful and has easy access to the water for some swimming or fishing. The camp itself was cozy but also spacious enough. We had 5 adults and we had plenty of space for activities, plus we all had our own bed! All in all we had an amazing weekend and made great memories that we will never forget.」
