「Fantastisk koselig hotell/pub i en enda mer fantastisk typisk engelsk landsby. Knutsford er ett lite sted med masse flotte butikker og spisesteder i landlige erkeengelske omgivelser. Cross Key Hotel passer utmerket inn i bildet og er ett hotell/pub med sjarm og høy standard på rom, dog kan selvfølgelig noe pusses på og en Beer Garden sommerstid var flott å sitte ute på. God frokost og typisk pubmat forøvrig med meget velutstyrte rom. Kommer igjen !」

「Room was clean and comfortable, bar staff were friendly, only thing that would have been handy to know before booking, is the do not serve food on Monday or Tuesday. I booked a Monday night.」

「可愛らしい部屋で、必要なものは揃っています。ですが、ポットについては何ヶ月洗っていないのだろう？というくらい抵抗がある汚れ方をしていましたので使いませんでした。ポットを使う予定がある方はご注意ください。 立地は大聖堂も近く、観光にも便利ですが、駅からスーツケースを引いての徒歩移動は無謀です。タクシーの使用をお勧めします。」

「We stayed at the Rose & Crown 19th and 20th June 2024. Nice room with tea / coffee facilities. Parking in pubs own parking area at the back of the hotel. There is a beer garden where we had fish & chips and must say it was the best fish & chips we have ever had. Next morning we had full English breakfasts with tea or coffee and plenty of toast. All on all excellent value for money.」

「Very pleasant situation. Hotel could do with a little modernising but was clean and the staff at reception and the dining area (Sean) were very welcoming and attentive . Overall a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely make a return visit. 」

「A very pleasant stay! Lovely large room and the bar and restaurant was great. Comfortable bed and good shower. They even made me food after the kitchen was closed. Only negative was the mini single use plastic shower gels and shampoos. Refillable soap and shampoo dispensers would make it perfect! 」

「One night stay to attend concert in Liverpool. Check in was smooth, staff member showed me to room and showed fire exits etc, he was very polite. Room was ideal for what we needed. Clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modern, shower prowerful, towels and toiletries provided. Free parking on site to the back of the pub. The area was quiet with minimum passing traffic. We didn’t drink or eat in the pub but it looked nice enough. 」

It would have been nice to have had the heating on when we arrived but appreciate that we’d recently had a change in weather. Bar has wide selection of drinks and food is excellent. Views are fantastic on a clear day and outdoor seating is available. Would (and have) happily recommend to friends and family」
