"A beautiful hotel with many buildings with different rooms. A clean large swimming pool in a beautiful courtyard which was welcome after a day sat in the car. Staff are very friendly and restaurant/bar service very good. A good meal in the courtyard restaurant. Easy to park. A spacious garden to walk around with our small dog. Air conditioning in our room was not very good at all. No fly screens fitted to windows so we couldn’t open windows due to high level of flies/bugs/moths."

"Beautiful accomodation & very friendy staff. All restaurants, shops,… nearby. Also very nice it had a swimming pool and parking garage. I stayed in the appartment close to the mainstreet, so i had some trouble sleeping the first night, but just put some earplugs in and it was fine. I will be coming back. "Ottimo complesso di case mobili, praticamente nuovo con area sauna ed idromassaggio pulita e ben tenuta. Completo di tutto, incluso capsule caffè x la prima colazione e kit di benvenuto. Tutto perfetto. Non mancava nulla. Tutto perfettamente pulito. Comodo la casa da 6 x 4 persone. Forse un pò strettino x 6 adulti, ma cmq visibile. Posto auto gratuito e bella veranda. Complimenti allo staff che ci ha aiutato in emergenza ad effettuare il check in x un problema di prenotazione last minute. Super...

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful & well maintained in every detail. Kudos to the gardening staff for the magnificent surroundings bathed in the scent of jasmine. Spa experience (massage & facial) was excellent. My lake view superior room was lovely, clean. I’d think twice before staying here again for 1 reason: the sub-standard food. We dined at Il Borromeo 3 times & none of our dishes were hot nor prepared as ordered. They came out of the kitchen too quickly after ordering so we gathered they were pre-made. One night we ordered Wagyu steaks, medium rare. They were thin cut, served COLD & medium well; vegetables & sauce also stone cold. Sent them back & received well done meat. Sent that back & ordered the tagliata steaks, medium rare …got medium. The cacio e pepe was lukewarm, veal without flavor. The carbonara was also lukewarm & sticky rather than creamy. Bread was hard & lacked flavor. As for the breakfast served in Il Borromeo all the various croissants were dry (so disappointing). The lone bright spot for dining is Le Bistrot — the poolside snack bar! Great food there. Other small things need work: water bottles not replaced during our 4 day stay, no mint at turndown is odd for a 5-star, CNN not working even though we reported it twice. At check in Reception did not have a record of my pre-booked spa appointment & said *I* should call the spa to confirm. (Umm, no, that’s your job, Sir.) Restaurant staff more concerned about breaking down tables than serving guests."

"The property location was great and the room and breakfast were good. The only issues were that the air conditioning wasn’t working throughout the hotel and we weren’t made aware of this. It was only when we got to the room and tried it that we found this out. We were given a fan to use but the room was very hot. Also, the pool wasn’t operational but again we weren’t made aware of that."
