"Everything about this hotel was wonderful. We stayed in a classy king room. It was spacious with the best shower I’ve experienced in a hotel. The location is perfect. It’s near the main shopping area but also has Pontocho alley right in front of the hotel where you can experience the traditional Japanese restaurants in the older part of town. It’s easy to get around with buses and subways nearby. Kyōto station is about a 10 minute bus ride away or a taxi ride (approximately 2000 yen). The breakfast was lovely too and the staff were friendly and polite. They have a small gym with two treadmills, a cross trainer and two bikes but no weights. Mats are provided. It’s basic but clean and functional. Highly recommend. I would stay there again. "
