Great location and brand new hotel. Parking a car is not on-site which is a bit of a bummer but nice walkability and easy Hwy access. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great place to stay in Hobart

The Henry Jones hotel is a lovely place to spend your days in Hobart. The rooms are large and have a nice view of the harbor. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again if in Hobart.

The lodgings, food and service was fantastic! I felt like I was in a Jane Austin film and loved every second. The room was updated, comfortable and very cozy for the winter. The food at the resturant was the best meal we had in Tassie and would come back again just for that. Staff were friendly and overall a 5 star experience.

Our visit was during Christmas and it was our honeymoon. I don’t think any other place would have been as perfect. We stayed in the gardeners cottage in the middle of an incredible garden. The two story little house is adorable and functional. We agreed it has the best shower in the world and that’s not even in the top 10 lovely things about the place. A magical time in a magical place. We stayed in the Walter (split level two bed room/bath rooms) that was amazing. Great amenities, helpful attentive staff, great food and drinks. The Mona Museum was incredible too. All around it was a most memorable and magnificent time in this gorgeous place!

We stayed in one of the economical pod rooms. It was roomy and comfortable though not luxurious. The best part of our time there was the farm. Nick at reception was very friendly and helpful, giving us food to share with the farm animals and tips on seeing the platypus. We did both! Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Wonderful service and view. We loved this place.

Nice house, vintage outside and modern inside. We can find almost everything needed in the house, including kitchen suppliers, heater in bathroom, ipod player…just like at home. If the wifi signal is better, it will be a perfect one.

What a wonderful place to spend three nights in Tasmania! If you want a quiet, beautiful and relaxing spot this is it. Exceptionally clean, amazing delicious food and the best staff to keep you taken care of. Our thanks to Jess, Hillary and Richard who made our stay most enjoyable.

I could stay here forever. Yes, my room is clean, comfortable and filled with lots of extras. Staff is very available and helpful. But add the beautiful surroundings, acres to walk, fine restaurant, and working farm atmosphere and you will not want to leave either!

The hotel has taken the time to create beautiful well groomed trails in the forest. The cabin is spacious. You are close to the Huon Valley with all its attractions. And you are on your way to Southern Tasmania. Great package of features!
