"I wasn't sure what to expect of the Seymour Lake Lodge when I booked it on Hotels.com. Was I pleasantly surprised! It is an old converted farmhouse, with tons of character, and all the modern conveniences. The room was adequate and comfortable, the view of the lake was stunning, both from my room, and the large front porch! A huge yard for walking my dog. Had lengthy conversations with the property manager and another guest. One of my most memorable stays."

"The property manager and staff members were extremely helpful in accommodating our needs. A handicap accessible room was not available at the time of booking and we hoped a regular room would have sufficient features for our elderly parent. Upon arrival it was apparent that our parent would have difficulty. The management was very responsive and was able to quickly arrange an appropriate alternative. We were most grateful and had a wonderful stay with Comfort Inn & Suites, Montpelier-Berlin, VT. "

"We love our stay. Quiet but very close to the city. Some Restaurants at walking door. Room very clean and comfortable. Pool, spa, lounge, dressing room very clean. We love hangout at the lounge in the evening. More beautiful than on the picture. Nice music. Staff amazing. "

"Gorgeous, well kept property. Staff is so pleasant. It is an older property. Built in the 60s I would guess. You can tell the age due to the ceiling heights, thin walls and floors. The decor is very mid century modern, clean, minimalist and thoughtful. My room was very small but plenty of room for just myself. The bed and bedding were comfy. The small deck and river view from my room were a real treat. "
