「Really nice clean room and the staff were more than helpful and friendly however the food was unfortunately a disappointment with the rib eye steak being of poor quality, the onion rings being undercooked and the mushrooms being cold. The wait for food was also longer than expected. 」

The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful. They've done a great job of the hotel and grounds, and it's a great location in the village opposite the church. Easy access to nearby towns, the moors and the coastline. Would highly recommend. 「Exceptionally well decorated and beautiful home to explore the local area. Very welcoming on reception and everything you could need. Only minor gripe was the upstairs shower that was either boiling hot or freezing cold with no in between but sort that and this place is perfect. 」

「A really lovely, intimate place to stay. The breakfast was excellent and good quality & portion. The overall standard was very good, and the staff were especially friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed, comfortable stay.」

「Breakfast we didn't have as it was extra so can't comment on that , the views were amazing and we had a room looking out across the moors , the room was pretty bit obviously old and creeky ,massive bathroom with bath and separate shower , the cold tap in the bath didn't seem to work ,no water cold water came through, bed seemed to be on the small side even though was advertised as king size ! Narrow corridors and clunky doors separated the rooms along it and unfortunately inconsiderate noisy...

「Jacuzzi was out of order and pool cold due to broken pump. No complimentary breakfast or discount was given. Very disappointed as only booked that hotel over others for facilities and they were unavailable. 30 minute walk to get to the main attractions」

「It is an excellent location, beautiful sea view rooms overlooking south bay, close to local amenities, there is a lift to take you down to the seafront and back again, only cost £2.50, I recommend it for the view. Rooms are serviced every day, great friendly staff, great restaurant and it’s dog friendly too, don’t take my word for it! Just go and enjoy 😊 」
