"This cabin is nicer than some homes, honestly. What a great place to enjoy Maine’s beauty! It’s so peaceful and beautiful in Mount Chase. The cabin is bright and modern with windows for the views and sunlight, but it’s still cozy and we loved hanging out there. There’s a great deck made to enjoy the shade and sun mix, relax and dry off after swimming in the pond — more like a lake to me. We used the canoe and kayaks. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals with nice stainless pans, chef’s knives, cutting boards, plus nice dishes, glasses, etc. The beds are very comfortable with nice mattresses and sheets. The washer and dryer are high quality and so convenient! Adults and kids enjoyed sitting at the dining table playing games and talking or eating meals. Great lighting throughout the house. Local businesses were great, too. Shin Pond Pub was fun, and Shin Pond Village for breakfast with the kids, we played duck bowling at Birch Pond. We shopped for groceries at Ellis’s Market their service and selection are great. Gabe and Emily communicated clearly with us as and were very responsive to our requests . We highly recommend a vacation here! This is a great cabin and place to enjoy the beauty of Maine."
