"Fabulous Oceanfront Home! From the moment we drove up the driveway, we were surrounded by lush, colorful tropical plantings. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished in island style including artwork by the owner throughout. The kitchen is well equipped, the outdoor gas grill an added plus. Plenty of beach towels and lovely cotton bedding. We saw very few others on the gorgeous beach where you can snorkel the close-in reefs endlessly. Highly recommend going out to some further out to see huge brilliant and plentiful healthy coral and an abundance of tropical fish. Large grouper and lemon sharks are curious and nonthreatening. Back at the house the pool is a great refresher after an ocean swim and provides a terrific evening hang. We have been going to Eleuthera for 14 years and will definitely rent Blue Palms again!"

"It is a good size property with a low density of villas. Mine was near the pool and restaurant area, but I think they’re only three villas in a row. The beach is quite nearby is large and largely empty. It seems to be a perfect couples getaway spot. It’s also well placed near the center of the island to allow travel both north and south within an an hour and a half to two hours each way. They do a new job, maintaining the place and provide a memorable vacation venue."

"The location is amazing a 5 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. The house is very large and the cottage is wonderful for extra guests or grand kids. All are decorated in a very beachy -comfortable fashion. Great house for large families. Loved the single chaise by the pool to take afternoon naps. Other than one hard double bed downstairs all the beds were very comfortable.The hosts were very responsive and helpful. It is a beautiful house and the pool was just an added benefit, the real beauty of this place is the location near that amazing beach. Be sure to check out the display of stars at night! If you can fly into Governors Harbor Airport to avoid the long drive to the North Eleuthera Airport."

"I just got back from staying at the Desert Rose. It is exactly as pictured on the website. The house is clean and well equipped. The beach in front is breathtaking. You can easily swim, float and snorkel right in front of your property. Hosts were always in contact and very helpful. I highly recommend this property."

"This house is beautiful and right across the street from a very nice Atlantic-side beach. It was amazing to be able to sit on the beach in the mornings while waiting for the rest of the family to wake up. I highly recommend it as a place to stay! It has very nice chairs, a cooler, and just about anything else you would need except an umbrella. The filtered water, Starlink, and generator make it easy. One note about island life - the generator was running when we arrived, and we got two showers in with no issues. Later in the evening, the generator would trip offline every time we tried to shower, so we gave up and took a couple of cold showers in the dark via headlamp before resetting it for the evening. The a/c was off and only a few lights on, so I think maybe the generator can't run the water heater. Not a big deal and the grid power was back by the next morning. Very helpful communication from the owner about the generator before we arrived. I would also note that this house is maybe 20 minutes down a very potholed dirt road from the last paved road, which could get tedious if you plan to go in and out multiple times per day. But for an Eleuthera residential vacation home experience, this house is wonderful: beautiful to relax in, great views out its many windows, and a gorgeous upper bedroom with an ocean view and great airflow. Clean and well appointed, with a binder of very helpful island info and a copy of the beach book to use. We would be excited to stay here again!"
