One thing we do wish we had was fans in the upstairs rooms, as we stayed in the summer time and it did get quite hot up there. The owners were very helpful, and amazing with communication. 「I absolutely loved my stay at the Red Cottage and it is my favorite place that I've stayed while visiting Wilmington. Peaceful, plenty roomy, less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to the lake. I have Celiac so have to bring items like a toaster to avoid cross-contamination but the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The team was super responsive even before my stay. Highly recommend and look forward to my next visit! 」

「Twenty-five family members flew in from around the country for a memorial service in Pittsfield. The Inn allowed us to turn the weekend into a family reunion honoring our father/grandfather. Nine people slept at the Inn and we hosted two BBQ dinners for all. People enjoyed the fire pit, outdoor games and hot tub, the deck and large kitchen. Perfect weather and enough parking for our fleet of cars.」

A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property.
