Our family of 3 generations enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house, in town for a graduation. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The host was very welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. There is a great view of the water, from the 2 balconies and window view. The beach is so convenient, very short walk on the path. We did enjoy walking on the beach on the warmer days! Also toys for the kids to play with, and ping pong table. Would love to come back in summertime!

This was our second time staying and we enjoyed it as we did the first. The location is perfect and is very accommodating to visit our son who is currently serving in the Navy. Had to make last minute adjustments and Amy was very understanding and quick to respond. Looking forward to our next stay.

Beach House on the Bay Vacation

Amy was an amazing host. Though we had no need to contact her during our stay, communication up untill our stay was on point. The house was as described! And my family loved being there with the close proximity to the beach. It was spacious even with a family of 10 :-) We enjoyed every moment of our vacation inncluding coming back to the house after a day at the beach and relaxing or gathering in the kitchen to share moments. Thank you Amy for an AMAZING Vacation home. The Sullivan Family!!

Beautiful and clean. Great location. It was described and pictured exactly how it is! Enjoyed the beach, farmers market in the park. Dolphins and sand crab watching.Would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family. Thanks.

House is lovely. Host is very prompt communicator. Kids especially enjoyed the kid friendly amenities- toys in closet, table tennis in garage, tv availability in their bedroom. It was great having a high chair provided. Plenty of room. Great space for family with wide range of ages. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful and Restful

First let me say that Amy is an amazing host who very promptly answered my million and one questions before checking in. This property was exactly what my family and I needed while down there in February 2025. The water view is stunning, everything was immaculately cleaned and all the rooms comfortable and welcoming. We will definitely be back during the warmer months and will recommend this property to others.

A lovely place to stay in the Norfolk area

This is our second time renting this property in Norfolk. It’s a beautiful home that is well-appointed, tastefully decorated, and very quiet and comfortable. The owner is very communicative and accommodating. Look forward to returning in the future.

Old Dominion University Graduation

My son was graduating from ODU and, being from the Philadelphia area, we wanted a comfortable place where all of the siblings and their significant others could stay together. This home surpassed our expectations! It’s absolutely beautiful, spacious enough to give everyone their own areas and the common living areas are so incredibly cozy. It was absolutely perfect!! We are hoping to return next year for a longer stay!

Amazing

My family and I had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday at Ocean View. The amenities were exceptional. The house was beautiful, immaculate, and comfortable, and the area was quiet and cozy. They even had toys for my grandbabies to play with when they visited. I truly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this location

Absolutely perfect stay

Amazing beach House!

Loved the house. Everything you needed was right there including tons of toys, an xbox, and blankets for porch sitting. Very nice. wish I could stay forever!

Clean, Immaculate and Comfortable

We all enjoyed our stay at Beach House on the Bay. Our group included two 30 somethings and six 60 somethings. The outside of the house was a not at all what we were expecting but the inside was just as pictured on the site and we were very pleased. It was clean, immaculate and comfortable! Just like home! I would recommend to others. Thank you.

Awesome property for families vacation seeking R&R

We love the comfort and cleanliness of this house. The house is well equipped and conveniently located just steps away from beautiful beach. It feels like you have your own private beach. The vibe is more on a quiet and peaceful for families who seeking for rest and relaxation. It only a short drive to board walk of Virginia Beach and First Landing State Park . There is also a community park across from the house as well. We will come back here again. Thanks to our host Amy for being helpful and supporting our family of 10 during our stay on week of July.

5th Norfolk Family Vacation

This is our fifth year for our family to meet in Norfolk for a beach vacation. This house is one of the top two for us. Master Bedroom is extremely spacious. The kids loved the bunk beds and the toys in the closet. Walk to the beach was easy. House is behind another row of houses on the beach but this house is behind an older one level home so the view is better of the beach. Garage area with corn hole, a ping pong table and sitting area were well used during the rain days. The house also comes with a number of beach chairs, sand toys and boogie boards.

Lovely property at a beautiful location.

Perfect!

The house was very clean and it had everything you needed even down to the toys for the children. The location is right off the beach. The property was very helpful when we wanted to extend our stay, they walked me through the steps to get it done. I would definitely stay again.
