Manatee watching April-May-June and on & off through the rest of the year. Kayaking East to Myakka or West to Venice Jetty’s. 2 miles from Nokomis Beach. 2 miles to downtown Venice. Wonderful place to stay! We loved the location to be able to kayak right at the house and bike along The Legacy Trail. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Great place to stay!

Great location on the inter-coastal creek - very open floorplan allows everyone to be together but not on top of each other. Loved the bedrooms on opposite sides of house, which allows more privacy. Also loved the screened in porch (with fans!) and the thoughtful seating both inside the porch and outside on the patio. The birds on the creek were a huge highlight - thanks for the great stay!

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back! The house was spotless when we arrived and had so many thoughtful extras that made our trip even more enjoyable. We loved fishing right from the property, and seeing manatees swimming nearby.The location was perfect for exploring the area. We spent time shark tooth hunting, relaxing at the beach, and making memories with our family. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts clearly put a lot of care into making guests feel welcome. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing Florida getaway!

The house has a great location. Nice, updated interior and well equipped kitchen. The host was available and very friendly. The home is conveniently located for parks, beaches and good dining. We would definitely recommend.
This is the view from the back lanai! Lots of birds.

The whole house was great! Very peaceful! We did get to see a small shark in the canal behind the house we were very surprised! Shane was a great host and gave me heads up on recent change in the house before arriving. I definitely would stay here again.

This property is absolutely outstanding, inside and out. We love the location for easy access to the Legacy Trail just a half mile away, ideal for walking and biking. And it's right on the water with easy access for kayaking. The hosts are right next door, and readily available should you need anything. Five stars all around!

Perfect spot

We enjoyed the location which is very near the Legacy Trail. Beautiful screened porch and great patio area on the creek.
