Beach Retreat - Completely Renovated!!Half Duplex, WIFI/TV,1mile to Beach.


This home makes a great vacation rental due to its location West of the Trail and only 0.9 miles to the beach. Many great restaurants and shops are close enough to walk. It is centrally located on the Gulf Coast only 10 minutes south of Sarasota and very close to Osprey, Venice and Englewood, about 30 min to Pt Charlotte and 50 min to Cape Coral / Ft Myers. This area and home did not get damage from hurricane Ian and the home is all newly renovated and updated with all new furnishings and electronics. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and coolers are on site and the home is well stocked for a comfortable stay. Laundry is on site and indoors.

This is half a duplex, privately spaced from the other side, but if an additional space is needed or you wanted to winter with family or friends the 1/1 sleeps 2 comfortably. Listing # 3155367 to book unit B.

This unit was spacious and cutely decorated. Quick drive or nice 30 minute walk up Nokomis Beach! Near the hiway but good windows so we rarely heard it. Host responded to any concerns quickly.

The house is in a great location, close to everything and so many beaches. Easy check in and check out. The host is extremely friendly and responsive and was helpful when we had car trouble and possibly needed an extra night stay. I will 100% stay here again and look forward to our next trip!

The Host, Ken, was great!!! Communication was excellent and the duplex was as described. Everything had been remodeled and the property is very close to the beach. Highly recommend.

3/4 block from rte 41 a 6 lane busy hiway, could hear traffic in large bedroom particular.

very clean, updated decor nice, laundry good but in rear need go around to rear of houset to get to. Had difficulty with electronic lock and ken 1st week difficult to get hold of, on communications I had with vrbo they his phone # . Would not stay again, priced maybe about right if things went better , but not for me for repeat rental. Ken helpful and nice guy owner/manager after difficult period to get hold of. Traffic 3/4 block away somewhat a distraction.

Terrific 2br! Clean, updated, well appointed!

This duplex was a fantastic place for me, my wife, my son, and his wife over Thanksgiving. It's in a terrific location, convenient to the beach, shopping, and downtown Venice. The place is modern, well appointed, clean, spacious, and really comfortable - and we really appreciate that they allow pets! The owner is very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort and convenience!

Unreliable host

Pros: The property was clean and in a nice location. It was beautifully decorated and had all the essentials. The neighborhood was quiet and super close to the beach. Cons: The keyless door lock was touchy and ended up locking us out. The owner was unreliable and unresponsive. We checked into a hotel just minutes before getting access to the house again through another contact. We spent hours trying to get into the house and to our stuff. I’m thankful we ended up not bringing our dog with us, because it could have been worse. The shower is tiny and water gets all over the floor. Also, the water is so salty you can’t drink it.

Fun in the sun!

Everything was perfect!

Wow! This property has everything you need for a fun beach getaway! First, everything was so clean. The place had tons of towels for both the beach and shower. The kitchen had enough dishes and glasses as well as updated appliances. The beds were very comfortable! There were beach chairs to use for the beach. There were so many beaches close by. Our favorite beach was Nokomis which was so close. They have a fun drum circle that you need to check out on Wednesday nights while watching the sunset. Finally, Ken was amazing to deal with! We had a fantastic vacation!
