"Stayed in the hotel for two days mid-September during family trip to north of Spain. Hotel is located within a few minutes from old town still close to very good restaurants. We spend a few hours with a drink in the hand just watching the waterfront view from our window! Parking is external but is very convenient and has an elevator directly into the hotel - better than some hotel parking I've seen. Very attentive stuff, we got a welcome gift that we appreciated very much! Room cleaning was done really well and thorough. Overall - exceptional experience and will not hesitate to book Vincci Puertochico hotel if I end up in Santander one more time!"

"The hotel and property were spectacular. I would highly recommend! My only issue was I wasn't able to set the thermostat to blow cold air; I tried all the settings and even placed it in auto mode. The room was a toasty 24 and it never went down from there, even when I tried setting it to 15. My wife also could smell cigarette smoke coming in our room when we had the windows open, clearly from other guests. That was a little bit annoying, but the hotel was first rate other than these minor inconveniences."

"This is a great place to stay, I am not used to staying in 3 star properties, normally 4 or 5 star. Staff are fantastic and friendly. The 24 hr cafe next to reception is a God send. Room is spotless, basic, and the beds are extemely comfortable. Tv and wifi are perfect. Buffet breakfast is good. The prices are exceptionally good for the food and drinks. I was pleasantly surprised. Literally 5.minutes in a taxi to the airport and 4 minutes to a central shopping center. The Marina restaurants also minutes away. Would definately recommend this hotel. Loved staying here. Great ambience, very friendly place to stay."

"It was a relatively new facility. Airconditioners in both rooms were pre-set - either blasting cold or nothing. No visible closets were available. Staffs were very friendly and eager to help. No options for recycling despite being in a tourist hub. Parking in the basement was tight."
