「This is a former "palace" (really a chateau), which has been converted to a hotel. It is in an isolated location. We called ahead, and they kept the dining room open for almost 1/2 an hour until we arrived!! The staff was extremely helpful. Our room was very large, with a very high ceiling, but was very sparsely and cheaply furnished. The plumbing was bizarre- the room bathroom had two taps, and both delivered very hot water. 「Room was excellent. Very few staff spoke English but fortunately we spoke German which seems to be their second language.」
