Staff goes above and beyond to help you whether it was de-icing the car or providing tea and snacks upon arrival. The room is absolutely gorgeous with plenty of space to lounge and relax. Having our own onsen with a view of Mt. Yotei after a day of skiing was an absolute delight. We will definitely be returning!

Terrific stay in upscale Japanese inn

This was a terrific stay. We all loved it. Suites were large and minimalist but very tasteful, exceptionally comfortable with all technical amenities and private onsen in each suite. I would describe this as a luxury and modern take on the traditional Japanese inn (inn was built in 2020). Inn is about 7 minutes drive from the hopping ski town of Hirafu. Hotel provides free shuttle back and forth at specified times and Go Taxi app worked well, so no need for rental car. Very peaceful and relaxing and a nice way to experience Japanese culture (the ski town hotels feel by contrast a bit like you could be anywhere in the world). Great massages at spa. Small fitness room. Food is very good. Really friendly staff.

Relaxing and beautiful

One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The simple design and impeccable service from the staff made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We stayed as a family with two small kids and next time skiing in Niseko I would rather choose a hotel at the gondola base (like the Ki hotel) but for a relaxing getaway Raku Suisan was perfect!! We ate dinner and breakfast there every single day and the Japanese food was absolutely amazing. If you want to immerse yourself in the seafood based Hokkaido cuisine then definitely eat all of your meals there. The room was lovely and well stocked with coffee and tea. The lobby was spacious and had a great view of the falling snow in the courtyard. The staff went above and beyond to help us in any way. Thank you.

Just stayed at Raku Suisan, and it was pure bliss! This intimate retreat delivered the ultimate relaxation we were craving. From the moment we arrived, the serene atmosphere and stunning views of Mt. Yotei right from our room's private onsen and balcony were breathtaking. The free-flowing natural hot spring in every room helped us truly unwind and disconnect from everything. The dinner highlights were the French cuisine and teppanyaki—both beautifully presented, full of flavor, and perfectly paced. If you're seeking peace, incredible mountain scenery, and top-notch hospitality in a quiet, luxurious setting, Raku Suisan is highly recommended.
