「I felt compelled to write this because our stay at this hotel was genuinely the best we’ve ever experienced. The hospitality was exceptional—every staff member, from security to the reception and restaurant teams, greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to make us feel completely at home. Our 4-night stay was wonderful, and the hotel’s peaceful location in a quieter part of Ooty made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. 「Gateway is an older Taj property that reeks of old world charm. The cottages and gardens are expertly laid out and the service is attentive. My room was well appointed but old. Overall an excellent option in the Coonoor area.」

「This is a property with a breathtaking view of the Ooty huills and valleys. The cottages are good although they now require a fresh coat of paint inside. Food is decent and the breakfast spread is very good and so is the dinner buffet. Hotel staff are helpful and response to the calls is quick. Hot water timings are restricted in the mornings and evenings but that's not too much of an issue. The hotel helped us with a immersion rod beyond the normal timings so that was very helpful.
