Family villa Myrtia with heated pool, 2 minutes walking to local amenities

"We have just returned from two weeks at this beautiful villa. The villa is well equipped and extremely clean and maintained . Beautiful decorated and feels like a home ! We enjoyed the gorgeous warm pool which was kept clean daily and the villa cleaned every 3 daysGeorge is a wonderful host , he is so helpful with arranging excursions , taxis and anything you need .Georges mum made sweet treats for us.During our stay we enjoyed a local Cretan festival which was wonderful , we visited lake kournas which was really enjoyed and only 25 mins away .We visited the old town of Rethymno several times which a bus outside the villa takes you to for a couple of euro , great service , the bus stop is outside the bakery which serves the most delicious treats The Vila is really well located next to supermarket and pharmacy. There is a delicious outside restaurant in the village outside the church,beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the atmosphere The old town is beautiful , for wondering the lovely streets and shopping Restaurants are lovely and reasonably priced within the old town. Avoid eating around the harbour as it’s ridiculously expensive , looks beautiful but you pay for the view !We visited the beaches locally which are easy accessible from the villa by bus or taxi.Highly recommend Sirokos beach Some of group went to the samara gorge which George happily organised for us ! The gorge was spectacular and really well organised and enjoyed. Thanks you we will be back x"

"We had the most wonderful stay at the villa, very spacious with beautiful grounds and swimming pool. Really is a magical and relaxing villa. We were a family of 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space with 2 doubles and 2 singles on the first floor and 3/4 self contained apartments on the ground floor. There are numerous terraces and seating areas so you can always find sun or shade whatever time of day. The Peteos and team were amazing and ensured we had everything we needed and communication was perfect. Having the sea a 1 minute walk from the villa was a real treat. There are 3 tavernas within a 5 minute walk and a super market a 5 minute drive away.We will definitely be back."

"Myron was the kind of host who makes a place feel welcoming from the moment you arrive. After a long day of travel, he greeted us personally, walked us through the property, and had thoughtfully stocked the kitchen with a few starter items. The home itself was exactly what we hoped for in Crete: clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly suited to our stay. One of our favorite parts was the view, made even more memorable by the unexpected charm of the neighboring goats, who quickly became a source of daily amusement. Myron even surprised us with fresh eggs during our visit, a small gesture that captured the warmth and care of the whole experience. Thank you, again, Myron – you were a terrific host!"

"The staff were very helpful, especially Julia and Monos. They were always ready to help and always smiling. I really enjoyef the stay there. Although it was not close to the beach, there was a bus stop near by which goes to the old town in 11 minutes approx. There were a few shops and pharmacy close by also."
