The food in the restaurant was like from grandmas kitchen. Delicious dinner, the old German way. Rooms reasonably priced, clean and comfy beds. The only rub: church bells at 7 am ….. we had to get going, anyway, luckily.

The outstanding feature of this hotel is its location. Easy access to train station and across the street from Porta Nigra and the old town. The hotel itself is comfortable and a bit old-school, we had a spacious room and the largest bed I have ever seen.
