"Great place to enjoy the ocean in Costa Rica away from the tourist centers! Warm Pacific Ocean was literally 50 feet from the Cabina. The Cabina is a basic cabin with no frills as shown in the pictures, but very comfortable. The ocean waves can lull you to sleep or keep you up at night so bring earplugs. Rita and Sonny are attentive, gracious and laid-back hosts. We went at the end of April when it was hot and humid. Since air-conditioning is rare in Costa Rica, be prepared to take lots of...

"The biodome itself was clean and very unique. The property (communal kitchen and pool area) was unkempt- the BBQ does not have an igniter and the pool was dirty and unusable. The walk to the beach was nice and everyone was always very helpful. Lots of wildlife! "

"The view was incredible from the whole hotel and all the staff very friendly. The wet bar was a great place to hang out. We hadn't booked the food and drink package ahead of time but realized when we got there that it would be good value so we were able to add it on. The food was fine (better than most all inclusives I've been to) and drinks were a good selection. The restaurant and bar area were really beautiful with a view across the bay. The hotel shuttle down to reception/gift shop and to the beach was super convenient. Apparently there are lots of great restaurants in walking distance too.
We saw howler monkeys right at the entrance to Playa Hermosa and it's a beautiful beach to walk along and swim at.
The only feedback we have is that the bed in our room was very hard and the daily activities can be a bit loud with the staff doing bingo on the microphone for an hour one of the days! It's a small area so they could do it without a mic.
Super close to Liberia airport and we got an Uber for about $45 CAD to the hotel. Also loads of car hire places around too. "
"Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was wonderful very friendly and quick to provide whatever was needed. This is smaller resort very quiet and great place to relax. The location was great, good beach and within short walk to shopping. It is somewhat remote so 1 hour plus ride from airport, but worth the drive. "
"Amazing place, walking distance to the beach, staff is amazing, concierge helped us step-by-step to book a day tour, in the center of town and near most restaurants, bar staff is the best"
"The housekeeper Ana was the exceptional part of my stay. She went above and beyond as a housekeeper. I’ve traveled the world and stayed in 100’s of hotels and resorts. I’ve never had such great service out of one single person. If she isn’t the boss, she should be. In real life outside of vacation I run a crew of 100’s of people. Give that woman an crew and have her train them on EXACTLY what to do! She’s the one! I recognize leaders in their field when I see them. She’s the leader! We had a great stay at the resort, thank you to all who work there"
