Clean room. Lovely size. Staff helpful and friendly! Good location and lime bikes useful outside for getting about. Rooftop pool a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a bar up there and hardly any sunbeds. Only about 5-6 max. And they rock and back for. Could do with a bit of work on roof as the hotel next door had a fabulous rooftop so we went there for a drink instead.

What a Big Disappointment— this Novotel located in central Nice needs RENOVATION!!! The entire facility looks really old with Old carpet with stains. This place stinks— especially whenever I used faucet the sewage smell would come up from drain! This location really changed my perception about consistency of quality of Novotel and will definitely hinder my decision on booking future stays at Novotel. Though, There were a couple of benefits about this location. They had sparkling water dispenser on every floor—which was a pleasant surprise. Location of the place is convenient for public transportation. Breakfast was mediocre though I think crowdedness made the experience worse. I would really like to recommend them to have option of pre-made hard boiled eggs. They have basket full of raw eggs and you have to boil your own. The concept is cute, however, the maximum capacity it can hold is 6 eggs and I am not going to stand there and wait 7 minutes for my eggs. Because once I walk away, my eggs disappear. Also, with the crowds, the machine gets overwhelmed. Please, have some pre boiled eggs on the side. Staffs were willing to help but appeared to be understaffed or perhaps business of this location kept them too busy. Sorry but, I do not recommend this place—it will ruin your NICE EXPERIENCE. They should renovate just like Novotel by the airport—that one is newly renovated and very nice and clean.

Hotel is perfectly located to access Old Nice, the train station, bus stops, trams, etc to get to all surrounding areas. The staff were excellent but especially the bar/restaurant area. The main lobby, restaurant and outdoor areas including pool were well maintained, the hallways and rooms themselves were a bit older with stained carpets, thus my lower review for the facilities.
