The hotel was really well located, clean with good WiFi and air conditioning which we were really grateful for in August! We stayed at the hotel for five days and enjoyed Villlefranche and the surrounding towns from a great base.

An ok stay, there wasn’t much bedding but I only discovered this after the receptionist had left. Not bad overall but a bit of a walk up the hill so best for people who like walking.

Great value.

Consider it like a 16 room Bed & Breakfast and not like a bigger hotel that has 24/7 concierge. Nice owner. Location not bad once you learn the shortcut paths to the main action of the village. I enjoyed my stay.

I stayed for one night for work. The area is very nice the bay very pretty. the hotel and staff were very helpful and polite. the room was spacious and very clean with A/C. I cannot comment on breakfast as was up and gone early. good proximity to shops and beach. I ate out in a local bar which there are many to choose from. don't expect a cheap one though!

Great location. Great price. Check in was not made clear. I was never sent any code for lockbox. Luckily I decided to just try to open it and it wasn’t locked so I was able to get my key. Room was comfortable and clean but smelled like a bird cage. Maybe bc it had just rained but smelled horrible.

Not what you would expect from a 3-stars hotel

They never changed our towels during a 4 days stay. They ignored the sticker on the door asking to have the room cleaned. Check-out is as early as 10:30 AM, while check-in is at 4:00 PM. Yet, they still asked us to check in one hour later. Our request to check-out later was rejected. The mattress is uncomfortable. On a positive note, the darkening curtains work wonders (but don’t move them too fast, or they will fall) and there wasn’t much noise at night.

Helt topp opphold

Et fantastisk hotell, lite, intimt og personlig. Rent og hadde hva vi trengte. Savnet kanskje kjøleskap på rommet, men vi fikk bruke et felles kjøleskap i resepsjonsområdet. Damen som virket å drive hotellet var superherlig- smilende og blid, og meget serviceinnstilt. Kort vei å gå til havnen, stranden, togstasjonen og restauranter.

Har har eierne lagt inn så lite innsatts for å drifte hotellet som overhode mulig. Dårlig renhold og generelt dårlig standard. Toalettet hadde avføring fra forrige gjest da vi åpnet det. Aircondition manglet delen der du kan styre retningen på luften. Den begynte også å dryppe kondens over sengen om natten. Generelt dårlig lukt på rom og på hotellet. Ja, det kostet ikke allverden, men selv med pris tatt i betrakting ville jeg styrt unna dette hotellet.

3 nuits passées à l’hôtel Vauban, idéalement placé, tout est accessible à pied et places de parking à proximité. Accueil sympathique de la gérante. Chambres propres mais vieillottes. Le balcon est appréciable.
