Décevant

La maison est ancienne mais dans certains cas un peu trop. Des volets et des portes qui ne ferment pas, des poignées qui ne tiennent pas, etc.... cela pose des problèmes au quotidien comme fermer les fenêtres à défaut de pouvoir fermer juste les volets, ou juste fermer une porte de chambre... La batterie de cuisine manque de quelques outils de base et n’est pas forcément très propre. La piscine est de bonne taille, bien exposée et bien protégée. À savoir, les propriétaires demeurent sur le terrain voisin mais sont charmants et disponibles. La maison est bien située et l’environnement et la proximité de Vence sont agréables. Quelques travaux en lui gardant son charme seraient bienvenus.

High hopes but sadly disappointed

We were very much looking forward to our stay in this property. We knew from the pictures that we were going to be staying in rustic accommodation, which we usually love, but unfortunately, rustic turned out to be more like rundown. The property is in dyer need of refurbishment. Although the house had been cleaned properly before we arrived, as everything felt so old, run down and not properly maintained, you couldn’t help but feel like everything was dirty, which in fairness it was not. We had many issues with the property (such as all of the property’s electrics being housed in one of the bedrooms, which we just didn’t find safe) but I won’t go into detail on these as they were all relatively insignificant compared to the main two issues. Firstly, then general condition of the property and secondly, the rat problem. In fairness, the landlord did try to deal with the rat problem, however the fact that there were rats, which we both saw and heard, meant that we spent as little time at the property as possible. All a bit of a shame as the property did ruin our lovely family holiday.

Au calme et au vert à Vence !

Grande maison, bien située, piscine bien ensoleillée et agréable. Maison un peu "vieillotte" mais bien et amplement équipée. Couchage et sanitaire du bas pourraient être un peu améliorés. Très bon accueil. Excellent rapport qualité/prix pour la région.

Tolle Villa und wunderschönes Grundstück. Alles wie beschrieben.

Kommunikation war super. Schnelle und unkomplizierte Reaktion. Im Haus hat es an nichts gefehlt. Alles sauber und funktionsfähig. Toller großer und sauberer Pool. Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder...

Semestern blev inte riktigt som vi tänkt oss då vi blev bestulna på våra väskor vid Carrefour.

Huset var inte alls det vi förväntade oss. Det var smutsigt och nedgånget. Med tanke på den låga standardern så var huset dyrt att hyra. Dålig lukt som försökte döljas med doftbollar. Gammal porslin, gamla vitvaror, smutsiga handdukar och lakan. Vi är jätte besvikna och känner oss lurade av bilderna. Fin fräsch pool och trevliga människor men huset var under all kritik!

Idyllische riesige Gartenlandschaft mit wunderschönen alten Haus

Meine Familie verbrachte 14 Tage im Juni im wunderschönen Haus. Die An- und Abreise mit der Schlüsselübergabe verliefen reibungslos. Mr Dumas und Mrs Lepretre sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen. Man könnte sich jederzeit melden, falls man etwas brauchte oder Geheimtips für die Umgebung brauchte. Der Garten ist Riesen groß. Seitlich des Hauses ist ein schöner Pool mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen angebracht, wo wir die meiste Zeit verbrachten. Um das Haus herum sind viel Wiese und Sträucher, wo sich insbesondere unser Hund sehr wohl fühlte und dank eingezäunter Anlage täglich alleine auf Streife ging :) Das Haus ist sehr schön idyllisch und alt. Das Mobiliar besteht bewusst aus wunderschönen alten Möbeln. Mir persönlich gefällt das sehr gut. Und das Haus ist sehr sauber. Oben befinden sich 4 Schlafzimmer, eines mit eigenem Bad. Ein weiteres großes Bad sowie ein Wohnzimmer eine Küche, die rundum sehr gut ausgestattet ist und ein Balkon runden das Ambiente ab. Unten befindet sich ein weitere Wohnraum sowie eine Küche. Beide Zimmer haben direkten Zugang zur möblierten Terrasse und dem Garten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto in 5 min zu erreichen und für sportliche auch mit dem Fahrrad. Der Ortskern Vence ist sehr schön und die Umgebung mit weiteres süßen kleinen Altstadtchen sehenswert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Lage nur empfehlen. Beste Grüße Familie Lyer

très bien

La bastide correspondait exactement à la description et aux photos de l'annonce. Spacieuse, très bien équipée, dans un quartier tranquille, avec du balcon une vue magnifique et à 5 minutes en voiture du merveilleux village de Vence. Véronique nous a patiemment attendus malgré notre retard à l'aéroport et nous a accueillis chaleureusement. Elle a eu la gentillesse de nous fournir quelques boissons et provisions à notre arrivée, elle nous a même offert ses délicieuses confitures aux prunes et aux figues, quel régal. M. Dumas, le propriétaire qui habite juste à côté de la bastide, est aussi venu nous rendre visite quelques fois, très accueillant et toujours disponible pour nous recommander quelques endroits à visiter. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à la bastide, que nous recommandons sans réserve! Merci à vous Véronique et M. Dumas !!

Fantastic!

We were a six adults staying here for 2 weeks and we could not have been any more happier with our choice of house. Michel Dumas and his wife are lovely people and they did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. If we had any problems or questions, Michel was there to help us. The house was as beautiful as in the pictures, and the descriptions were correct. If we ever travel back to South of France, we know where we would like to stay!
