"The almost new property is superior to other newly offered lodgings we’ve encountered in recent years. The layout, design and construction of guest rooms and public areas were actually living spaces rather than minimalist pens offered at high value for travelers at modest prices. Bathroom was large, well appointed with a large shower and offered personal hygiene privacy. Breakfast offerings and facilities were welcoming and well patronized by considerate guests. We were only in the area one night but would have been happy to have remained for a longer period."

"Loved our stay at Harbor House. It was in the perfect quiet part of town, close to the water and close to Queen Street, but a wonderfully relaxed and quiet vibe. Large rooms with fireplaces adding even more ambiance. Helpful and friendly staff made and changed reservations for us when we asked. The breakfast buffet was great with wonderful homemade egg and sweet dishes to choose from each day along with lots of other items that were offered options for even our picky crew. Loved the 4-5 pm happy hour as well. Would highly recommend making this part of your stay to Niagara on the Lake."

"Great location only a few blocks walking to downtown. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding and during our two nights stay ate breakfast with different folks each day from Canada and USA. Really enjoyed the conversation. Would stay here again in this hotel which is over 200 years old. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning and coffee or tea available all day."

"We loved our stay! Quiet and within an easy drive to Historic Niagara on the Lake through a countryside full of grapevines owned by so many wineries, Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Quite peaceful. Suggestions: A slip mat in the tub would have been helpful, plus one extra rod for drying towels. The continental breakfast was first class. Impressed by the presentation and variety of options, all presented on white linens."
