Staff and service were excellent. Windows did not have any mosquitoe nets and so had terrible mosquito bites at night. Windows didn’t have a latch to close and so was not able to close the windows. Rooms had a bad odor. Lift to the 3rd floor was not working and my elderly parents had to take stairs and that was very inconvenient for my parents who had bad knees. We were there 2 days and the lift was not fixed during our stay.

I would expect the pool to be cleaned up before the stay and courtesy call to check on daily until guests leave for additional cleaning. I would also expect housekeeping staff to supply water which they didn’t on day 2 of the stay. Definitely lots of room for improvement for this resort.

The property is great. The swimming pools are fantastic. Dinner buffet very poor for the price charged. Breakfast was great. Guests with kids beware, will be charged extras for the kids, without any additional facilities.

I just liked the lake in the vicinity of this hotel. I did not like the staff services at all. This hotel is very run down and needs a make over. It was nowhere close to being a 5 star hotel. Very disappointing stay.

Not again!

The property was rundown with very poor upkeep. Average on cleanliness. Very frequent power tripping. Below average on maintenance. But management is disorganized. Calls themselves 5star and doesn't even have a bar! The gym equipments are not maintained and rusted. Things I liked were. Staff is very courteous. Restaurant serves really nice food.

DEAD COCKROACH AND COBWEB ON THE MENU

Check-In, was excellant, more than happy. Very Welcoming and Friendly reception. Room was also good, clean and decorated. Being an Island Resort, you dont have much of an option for outside food. So the restaurant they have is your only saviour. Saviour it was, untill now 9th March 2018 0930hrs. We reached the restaurant for our breakfast as usual and were totally shocked when we saw a dead Cockroach upside dwn onthe table we were about to sit. We saw the waiters passing by the table, yet none seemed bothered. We asked for the manager and we got a young lad. We insisted for the manager and we got another young waiter. Trying to be discreet and save thiere skin, i showed him the table. The waiter sees the dead cockroach, takes a tissue, picks it up and takes off. He does not take the necesary step to sanitize the table. We again as for the manager and we are told he is BUSY. This upset me because the manager was actually not bothered. Finally we sit in another table, and now we see a cobweb across two glasses. This became to much so we called for the head chef or some one more of an authority. The chef comes very aplogetic, cleans our table, but they dont clean the cockroach table.We saw some guests sitting in the Cockroach table and felt like telling them, but was stopped by my family. I again asked for the manager and came the F and B manager. I checked out after the incident and at the reception again asked for the manager, he never showed up.

Nice Resort close to beach access is difficult.

Beautiful location on the estuary with a beach a short boat ride away. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is beautifully located and the food was excellent. They served some good Australian wine. The room was spacious and the bed was king size and comfortable. It however coil do with some refurbishment. The mini fridge in the room was rusty. The toilet could have been cleaner. We took a one hour boat ride in the back water. It was beautiful with lots of birds. The backwaters we littered with plastic (not the hotels fault) but the government should do something about it.

Unpleasant estury poovar experience

Very bad experience with unfriendly reception people and poor quality of service.Me with family leave the hotel with out staying overnight at around 8pm as it was very unpleasant experience.

Excellent property, very poor service, facilities

The room was great. Only 1 restaurant serving buffet which was sub par except for bfast. Room service was very poor quality and took very long - upwards of an hour at times, not to forget crazy prices - masala peanuts @ Rs.385/-!! Main pool not functioning and its in the middle of summer! Poor service, except for 1 guy called Sajjan who was excellent. We were saved since we discovered a nearby floating restaurant - Samudra. Those guys are excellent. Super food of all varieties and great ambiance. Extraordinary service as well. Pick you up from the hotel jetty and drop back at no charge. Also pack up food for you in case you want to take some back, along with paper plates, napkins and plastic spoons.

very average rooms

the location and the facilities are good but the room where I stayed was really bad , old bed and spring mattress , it was really hard to sleep. and inside the room there was no fridge and neither did the electric kettle work. the food was average both at dinner when the staff suggested that we go for a buffet and that ordering off the menu would take really long and also at breakfast. All in all, it did not match the description given at all and I was very disappointed.
