「We were a family of 3 plus a cockapoo staying in The Tweed. The room was perfect for us. Loved the decor and attention to detail. It was nice to sit in the sun in the morning in the little garden with a coffee and listen to the birds. We had dinner and breakfast in the pub. The food was ok but the service could have been better. We booked in advance and were seated straight away but we found nobody came over to ask if we wanted drinks and we ended up having to stand in the queue at the bar....

「A beautiful hotel with very generous sized, clean, cosy rooms; well stocked with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. Unfortunately though, our mattress and pillows were quite hard making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. An excellent breakfast with a very good choice of cooked food, fresh fruit, pastries and cereals etc. It would be even better if you could have a latte instead of the filter coffee but that is only a small thing.」

「The property is in a lovely setting and as the sun was shining we enjoyed an evening glass of wine on the patio looking over the gardens and tipi. The restaurant, public areas and the bedrooms were all pristine and food of a great standard, when in the area we would definitely stay again.」

「The bed and breakfast experience lived up to its billing with prompt and excellent service from Michelle whenever requested. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide range of choices and the rooms were kept tidy with the suite providing the opportunity to relax in private. 」
