Surf and Sand is a cozy oceanfront condo and is perfectly located in the Nye Beach District. This neighborhood is known for its bohemian vibe with plenty of restaurants, shops, galleries and live entertainment all within walking distance! It's an easy walk to the public beach access. Enjoy the wonderful view of the coastline and the working lighthouse on Yaquina Head.

This pleasing one bedroom, two bath condo sleeps up to 4 guests. A lovely king bed in the bedroom with an ensuite bath adds privacy. A murphy bed can be found in the living room along with access to the full guest bath in the hall. The living/dining room is an open concept with a fully stocked kitchen including a counter with stools, a dishwasher, pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils, and all that you'll need to whip up and enjoy a delicious meal. A convenient washer/dryer is provided for those days where you had too much fun playing on the beach! Surf and Sand is located on the second floor but has an elevator for easy access.

Relax with an afternoon beverage or sip an evening drink from the covered deck off the living room where you can unwind and enjoy the view. With board games, books, and television, you will have plenty to keep you busy even on those stormy days that you stay indoors and watch the moods of the Pacific Ocean. Surf and Sand is perfect for a romantic getaway, a work/study/play retreat, or a great homebase for a group of friends to enjoy the best Newport has to offer.

Vehicles: Licensed for 1 (strictly enforced)
Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

This is a beautiful unit. However, the bed and furniture have a strong odor. It may be just closed up and musty but it reminded me of sleeping in my grandparents bed as a kid. The linens were very clean. Perhaps it’s time to switch out the couch and mattress? But again, it is a very nice condo. It is older construction but was well stocked and very clean.

Super convenient check in with excellent communication. Home was well-stocked and marked for blankets and trash bags, etc. we never found the thermostat, but the house was perfectly comfortable.House rules and expectations were clear and fair.

This place was amazing!!! Immaculately cleaned. The ocean view was sparkling through the shinny clean windows and from the perfect deck. This condo had everything we needed for cooking, serving, eating and just relaxing. Lots of games and puzzles. The beds were very comfortable and my daughter and I slept great. Walking to the beach was just around the corner.

A perfect experience!

After many experiences, this is the first time I don't have any suggestions. The hosts covered every single thing! Outlets had power strips for charging devices and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you need. Grocery store was close if you get tired of eating out. Great selection of books and games. I especially loved the security of the locks and gated parking. 5 minute walk to the miles of beach and the view from the covered balcoy was spectacular! Having two bathrooms (everything was spotless) was a treat!
King bedroom, spacious and comfortable!
Queen Murphy Bed was such a nice addition for my adult daughter. And the view!

This is a great place to stay in Newport if you're wanting to be close to the little Newport boardwalk town and be right on the beach there's plenty of shops restaurants and the view is great the only thing is it fits 4 adults sharing two adults in one bed two adults in the other if you want extra blankets you might want to bring them for snuggling does get cold at night great kitchen with lots of extras to cook with regular coffee pot with regular coffee grounds so that was nice in the morning great bedding all the beds were comfortable and great to sleep on showers with water pressure we're amazing the condo was on the second floor so you had a beautiful view of the ocean and Beach was not bad to carry luggage up or groceries and souvenirs parking was wonderful and very secure easy to walk to with everything that you need overall we loved this place and would totally come back and stay it was very clean and we were very happy the host were very easy to contact with any questions that we had Newport was an easy location to get up and down the coast and it's centrally located to get to depoe Bay or yachats we loved the location. I will say we would of liked a squeegee for the deck glass that is outside due to the fog it was hard to see sitting in the living room and looking out at the beach we would laugh about that saying we needed to bring one. But no complaints.

Amazing Property

What an amazing place! Completely organized kitchen with everything you need. TV streamed all platforms and was very easy to use. Now for the location PERFECT! Walk to a variety of restaurants bars, coffee, shops, etc. But the best part was not only the view from the but the ease of walking to the beach to take long walks and enjoy the scenery and weather. The communication with the property manager was exceptional and timely. The only thing that could be changed is an earlier standard check-in time at 5 PM. You cannot go wrong staying at this well-maintained beautiful condo

Only one disappointment

We loved the property and everything was great EXCEPT I realized an hour after we left that I'd left my favorite earrings in the back right of the hall bathroom sink. I wrote the property manager who said they would notify the cleaners. Either they kept them or didn't report them - I never got them returned-and I am so disappointed.

I highly recommend this property. A secure beautiful location mid-coast. Really appreciated the gated parking lot and parking spot designated for the unit. The covered deck facing the ocean was perfect. The murphy bed was very comfortable for an adult. Kitchen was fully set up with everything you need to cook your meals. Easy check-in check-out process. Would stay again!

Gorgeous view!

Couldnt ask for a better view and the unit had eveeything we could have asked for. Only “issue” that we had (and others were confused as well) ids that we couldnt open the gate becuz we thought it was the last four digits of our phone. Hate code was included in a text with lots of other info. Maybe make that more noticeable? Otherwise A+++

Stayed here for a weekend getaway. Beautiful view, there are some great local eataries, and shops at Nye beach. Space was as advertised, clean and funtional for what we needed.
