"Our family of 6 (plus our 4 dogs 🐾) shared one of the large cabins, and while it was definitely cozy at times, we absolutely LOVED our stay here! We ended up grabbing an air mattress for the loft upstairs, but honestly, we spent most of our time outside exploring because the resort is just that beautiful.
The cabin itself was very clean and smelled like fresh wood when we walked in, which made it feel extra cozy and relaxing. It also came stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, and there was a shared grill outside for the cabins in the area. We also appreciated that there was a nearby shower house available in case the cabin bathroom was occupied.
The pool and pool bar were amazing; clean, relaxing, and such a fun atmosphere. The walking trail right outside our cabin was perfect for morning walks with the dogs, and we loved having both small and large dog parks available.
The staff and bartenders were fantastic the entire stay. We even ordered food to the pool, and the staff picked it up from the golf course for us, and the food was so good! We also visited Elk Ridge Golf Course, which was an absolutely gorgeous course… and even more special because our daughter got engaged there during our trip ❤️
The location was perfect too; only about 5–10 minutes from both Spearfish and Deadwood. We loved ending our nights making s’mores by the fire pit area.
Even with so much to do nearby, the resort itself was so peaceful and beautiful that we honestly didn’t"
