Our few days at the Seagrape cottage were a perfect follow-up to a fun week we spent with friends at a resort in St. Kitts. The view from the cottage and the feel of tropical breezes were beautiful and relaxing. Each morning, we were awakened to the sounds of roosters and goats that put smiles on our faces. We enjoyed the Botanical Gardens and exploring other sites around the island. We ate delicious food at simple restaurants on the beach and at The Rocks and Gin Trip (try the Monkey Slap cocktail). The people we met in Nevis were incredibly warm and friendly. Other reviewers have mentioned that Austin was the key to a totally worry-free vacation, and we agree. Our new friend arranged transportation to and from Nevis, had a rental car (a necessity) waiting for us, showed us some of the island, provided a notebook of information and brochures, and called to see if we had questions or unmet needs. The cottage was cozy and clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and Austin provided beach chairs, towels, and cooler for our trips to the beach. We had planned to snorkel but did not bring fins (which are a must due to the currents and rocky sea bottom). We definitely would recommend Seagrape to anyone seeking a relaxed, genuine Caribbean experience.
