We were there visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday. The property was amazing. Nice, quiet, warm and cozy. The wooded area in back was like a park. Nearby Newburgh Indiana was a charming small river town with good restaurants, coffee houses, and shops. The host and her son were very warm, friendly, and accommodating. We had a great stay and hope to return.

Fourth of July family gathering

This is our third time at country comfort. We love the location. The cleanliness of the property. The responsiveness of Cheryl the owner when there was problem. I love that the property allows dogs.

Family birthday.

Beautiful renovated property. So much space. Big bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was wonderful to cook in. When visiting family in Evansville will hope to stay here again.

Great house. Everything my family needed. Comfortable gathering space. Kitchen had what we needed to prepare our meals. Comfortable brooms. We stayed in February. We would live to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the outside space!

The remodel of this old home is amazing. Very roomy, open and relaxing here. It has everything you could possibly need and then some. Highly recommend.

Nice Newburgh Getaway

The house was comfortable and provided plenty of room for 6 adult men. Excellent common areas and bedrooms, plenty of room outside for yard games, and good space between properties (so we didn’t have to worry if we or any neighbors got a little too loud).

The farmhouse is as advertised. The house was clean and well stocked. You could see the effort that has been put into the property. There was plenty of room to spread out after visiting family, friends, and Holiday World.

Labor Day Relaxation Get-Together

My husband and I got together with a couple of my college friends for a relaxing weekend of playing board games, dining locally, and going to the area movie theater. The house was very comfortable and cozy and very cost-effective. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return and may make staying here an annual event.

Wonderful

Short stay due to personal schedules but we only needed one night to enjoy a concert in Evansville. The house was so nice and welcoming. Very clean and cozy! Would love to come back for a few nights!

Farmhouse Birthday

We stayed here for 1 night and had my daughters 17th birthday sleep over with 10 of her friends. The house was perfect! We have plenty of room in the kitchen/living room to all be together and the fire pit was so much fun as well. The hosts are very flexible and will accommodate most any need. Also, the beds are very comfortable!!! I will definitely stay here again! : )

Charming farmhouse

This little nugget, situated right outside of Newburgh was the perfect, quiet location for our weekend! The quaint house provided for all of our needs and was very clean. All areas were well-appointed including the kitchen as well as offering bath and bedding extras. Our downtime included engaging in the puzzles and board games provided for some family time. A wedding in the family brought us to Country Comfort and it rounded out our wonderfully perfect weekend!

18th country birthday

We stayed here for my daughter’s 18th birthday party. It was a perfect place to host her party. The outdoor space is wonderful with the large yard and fire pit area. The kitchen is so well equipped that you have everything you need. Also. I can’t say enough about the hosts. They are very accommodating and respond quickly to any message. I highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling to this area.

Just what we needed

We went there for a convention and needed a place where the kids could have some outside time in the evening. Perfect for that. Plus we have never stayed in a place that had such a well stocked kitchen. All the rooms were clean and comfortable and I loved the farmhouse feel. If I changed one thing I would have liked a door or maybe a curtain on the master bathroom. I hope we get to come back next year!

Spacious Farmhouse !

Stayed here for our daughter’s wedding in Newburgh. Very convenient location. Lots of thoughtful things around house and check-in and out were easy. No time to use outside spaces. Plenty of room for all 8 of us that stayed. Due to the steep stairs inside house to upstairs wouldn’t recommend for elderly or small children. The walk to house to unload was also a lot if anyone had any mobility issues. Some parts of refrigerator had some spills and last guest forgot to clean coffee pot . Great price for the space and host was friendly and responsive.
