"The hotel was clean, the room was modern and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. However, we were unable to use the pool because the pump had broken that day. Given that the pool was the reason why we chose that hotel this was disappointing. That said, when I raised the issue with management, they were polite and offered a reasonable partial refund, so very positive. My main area of complaint however, is that check in was not until 4pm and check out was at 11am. Why should it take 5 hours to clean a room? This wasn't mentioned prior to booking, neither was an additional charge for use of the car park. Cost for 3 rooms for one night was in excess of £500. I would have expected the car parking to be free. "

"Our family enjoyed a comfortable stay at the cottage with all the amenities we required. The check in time of 5pm made our first day very short but we settled in quickly thanks to the information on the web portal. Breakfast in the conservatory, watching the goldfinches and robins, was the highlight for us. The water was slow to drain in the shower especially after a few consecutive shower users. Fine weather meant we were out and about for the day. Overall - good."

"Y Cei ticked all our boxes. We found the location ideal being a walk away from the beach and the facilities were excellent. The heating is underfloor and it was too warm. Unfortunately, the thermostat is locked and our dogs became distressed and had to sleep in the porch to keep cool. The garden is not suitable for young children nor large dogs as there is a a low wall and a big drop the other side. One dog escaped by jumping out. We had a long lead luckily and were able to tie the dogs up outside. We had to contact Customer Services for something else and they responded immediately and resolved our issue very promptly. We would highly recommend Y Cei and we will book it again."

"We arrived to find a very well equipped cottage including the use of a travel cot and highchair for my young Grandson - and even a toy box for youngsters! The cottage was situated in a beautiful location and having the sheep nearby was just perfect. The hostess had kindly left us some Welsh Cakes, which went down very well with us all, too. She had also left details of how to make contact with her, should we have needed to, so we felt well supported. Location-wise, we were within easy reach of several beaches and the convenience of a small shop close by meant we were able to pop in for milk etc. The decked area, the garden and the patio were lovely places to sit out to enjoy a drink and take advantage of the gorgeous weather that we were lucky enough to have. We all agreed that we had found a place that we would love to re-visit - and we would all recommend this cottage very highly indeed."

"This was a large family gathering and Bron Menai house catered for us in everyway with its internal size/layout - large open plan kitchen/sitting area, dining area, living room and bedroom/bathroom arrangements and with lovely outside areas and grounds in a beautiful setting all leading to a very relaxing atmosphere. The house was amazing inside and its location is beautiful and we would highly recommend it."

"The Brackens has an idealic location on the estuary. Watching the birds in the morning & evening is so peaceful & relaxing. Its also a great location to explore the island. The property is amazing, very comfortable & lovely with its huge windows to make the most of the views. Absolutely fabulous place to stay"

"Everything we expected and nothing we didn’t cottage was clean and tidy on arrival on the welcome pack well received. Communication with Anglesey Holiday letting dead excellent we will definitely be back. One small complaint was the lack of a wardrobe but not a problem really"

"Small but perfectly formed. Apartment is great for a couple. Everything you need. Glad to see The Crown is open in Aberffraw if only for drinks and we were made very welcome. Café next door was open as well and food excellent. Weather was mixed but still places to see around Aberffraw."

"The Windmill had everything you could possibly need it was very peaceful.And spacious the outside space was very well maintained the exterior of the windmill could do with a bit of cosmetic TLC but otherwise it was a fab stay and is also not far from restaurants, shops etc I would definitely stay again "
