Other Things to Note:
Shower: The removable shower head wand ensures extra convenience for taller guests. The shower is on the smaller side.
Property: This is a resort with 4 separate buildings being rented at times however there is still plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the grounds. Refer to overhead photos if you have questions on layout.
Noise: The cabin is located on a busier road which does cause some daytime noise.
Sunroom: The cabin is well insulated however the front room being all windows does get a bit colder during winter months. We do provide extra blankets, however it is generally too cold to sleep in this room during coldest winter months
Pets: Allowed for an additional nightly fee, please select pets while booking if you plan to bring your furry friends. Please contact us after booking to confirm pet arrangements if not prepaid online.
Pricing: There is a $15 charge per person per night over two guests to cover additional cleaning and laundry expenses. This is why we ask for an accurate number of guests and is automatically included in your price.
Interaction with Guests:
The owners will always be a text or call away if any issues arise however our desire is to give each guest privacy and space to enjoy themselves within the confines of the house rules.

Small but cute cabin in a great location. Clean and plenty warm during a cold night. The host was very accommodating for my need for extra parking space.
Fun Cabin especially if you want to bring your fishing boat since the owner provides a private dock. Very convenient to a lot of activities. Clean cabin with a manicured patio area to enjoy a fire.
Very relaxing place early morning can be noisy with traffic but quiets down. Ate at a restaurant “Between two Dams” very good food. Cabin 2 was very clean. When visiting the area again would definitely stay again
Amazing hospitality and wonderful area with breathtaking lake view!!
The property is wonderful lots of extras besides the cabin itself eg. Kayaks ,waterfront ,bikes ,cornhole, ect. The host is very easy to work with just leave things how you found them. I went with my wife and 3 week son and our doggo, And mind you it was cold snowing and raining and we still loved it. We will definitely be back. 5 stars 🌟 10/10 thank you guys from the pauwels family sorry we were a little late checking out 🙂
The cabin was a perfect fit for our mini vacation. We loved every bit of it. Things like having our boat on the dock and going out fishing or just enjoying the beauty around us. We walked around the nature trail nearby and cooled off in the cabin enjoying a movie. The air conditioner was small but mighty! That kept us cool. Our kitchen setup made making meals perfect for both indoor cooking and using outdoor grill that was provided. Thank you for providing the comfort of home.
Stayed in Cabin 2 for two weeks with my spouse and 7 year old daughter and we had a very peacefull stay. Love that there are bikes, kayaks, and a lake beach to swim at just accross the street as well as two playgrounds in the neighboring campground. The cabin was stocked with some essentials that made our trip easier (salt/spices, coffee, etc). My husband worked remotely during our stay and the wifi was both fast and consistant (avg. 200-300 Mbps).
We had to reach out to the host two times, and they were very helpful and quick to respond.
Only thing that was not as expected was the AC- there is a window unit in the bedroom and two fans in the living room area; the AC is most effective with the bedroom door wide open so that the air can properly circulate. Not a big issue, but just something to consider if you visit during summertime.
Overall a very wonderful getaway and we hope to be back in the future!
We had a wonderful time during our stay. The cottage was clean and well furnished. The docks are great, We loved being able to keep our boat on the lake the entire time we were there.
A great cabin, clean and all equipped with what you need. Only wished it set back away from the busy road. A great place for a couple getaway. Great trails and beautiful colors during the fall season.
