Cuando llegue al hostel quise realizar el chek-in pero estando en recepción la señorita que estaba trabajando en ese turno me indicó que la habitación que había reservado decía “famele” o sea que era solo para chicas. La verdad no me había fijado en ese detalle el punto es que le platiqué que había sido un error y le pregunté si me podía ayudar cambiándome a una habitación mixta o solo para chicos y la verdad la chica se portó amablemente y me pidió mis datos (pasaporte) para ingresarlos y ver que podía hacer. En eso llegó la encargada o dueña sea lo que sea NO ME INTERESA. Se portó de una forma muy arrogante, me dijo tu reservación no es reembolsable, lo siento no te puedo ayudar. Me ofreció un ma habitación donde tenía que pagar aproximadamente 300 dlls más pero le dije que NO, se molestó, se dio la vuelta y me dejó. La chica que estaba en recepción me quedó viendo apenada y la verdad me pareció muy mala la actitud de la encargada o jefa quién sabe qué sea.

I stay on the 5th floor. There is no elevator. There are no lockers for clothes. So, you need to store your suitcase in the storage room on the lobby floor.

friendly staff , super affordable rates to stay - yes its a hostel so you share a room and common bathrooms but I have stayed here twice and loved it both times !!! its a short walk to 103rd st station(s) for subway , you can walk to central park in minutes. Had hot shower day and night, common areas were very clean. Highly recommend if youre looking for a no frills , budget friendly stay at a safe , welcoming space !

Amazing trip! A half block to central park and a one and a half blocks to a major subway. Only thing was the other person took over the shared space in our 2 pod room which is no fault of Kama!

If possible, get the 6 person room with the private bathroom. The pods were roomy and comfy, all controls were inside (lights, charging ports, sockets) and you could lock and unlock your pod from your phone. Was close to public transportation and a choice of restaurants all around. Central Park was a stones throw away. I will definitely be staying there again. Wasn't overly expensive, well worth the price paid.

Everything was great, and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly, smiling, and caring — I almost felt like I was at home. The location is excellent, in a really good area. The sleeping capsules were comfortable as well. The only small downside was that inside the capsule area near the doors, there was some trash left behind. Other than that, I can definitely recommend this place. Price, quality, and location — 10/10. Thank you for the hospitality!

Great location right next to Central Park. Subway station 3 blocks away. The sleeping pods are very nice. Plenty of room even for a six footer. My only problem was the 5 flights of stairs to reach my room.

It was way too cold. I visited late April and the temperatures at night were at about 40 degrees. The heat was turned off and all they provided were a sheet and a fleece blanket. It was not enough to stay warm, even after requesting a second fleece blanket. Otherwise, I was really only there to sleep. Seemed clean enough and checking in was simple. I didn’t spend enough time to comment on anything else.
