Staff was awesome. Check in fast. Room a bit small for two beds and definitely paying for location. Shower only had cold water but staff fixed it by that night for hot water. Great view of city. Felt safe. I wished it was a bit cheaper but overall great stay.

Pretty good location. Clean and maintained building. I didn’t like the free public space - as a visitor made me a little uncomfortable and gives the hotel a sore eye .

First time we stayed and will definitely be back. Very convenient, room was nice and larger than some other hotels we've been to. Room had a coffee maker and even a small fridge. Only two elevators though for many floors so it may take a bit to get up and down, but that's workable!

Prime location. The public park outside was quite loud and you could hear inside the room. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable!

We had a great stay! We were here for 2 nights and 3 days and everything was great. The room was bigger than expected for NYC. We had no issues with the elevators like I saw on some of the other reviews. The hotel also had free luggage storage which was so nice for check in/ check out days. The staff was so kind and friendly and the room was clean! Will definitely stay here again!

Clean room with courteous staff. Main hotel entrance off of 39th Street was not well-marked…we walked right by it. Benches near entrance appeared to be occupied by homeless and/or drug-addled souls. Smell of marijuana is pungent and ubiquitous… not just at Holiday Inn but throughout Manhattan. Great central location for NYC sightseeing.

The rooms are small, but super clean. We had a top floor and the view was amazing. Easy walking distance from Times Square and Madison Square Gardens. Also a short walk to the subway. The only issue was the front of the building is a patio and it was full of homeless people. They do have 24 hour security on site, so that helped. I wouldn’t want to stay here alone though.
