「Bring extra socks and a sweater, it is cold in the basement unit. You can hear the kids upstairs as well, so bring earplugs for a good sleep.
Otherwise, the hosts were very friendly, the place was clean, and they left us a parking spot, water bottles and 2 Made Good bars.
5 min drive to Nottsawaga Inn was great.」

「I searched for this property on Google looking for a suite. The expedia listing says "Lakeside Private Suite". Despite the fact that the photo only shows a very narrow bedroom, I took the meaning of "Suite" to mean that there would be a sitting area separate from the sleeping area--despite the lack of photo showing this. Wrong. I was very disappointed with that. However, my husband just loved the dock and grounds and wants to return to the property. There are larger rooms which I could consider...

「Owners were very nice. Told us to reach out if we needed anything. She offered to help us with our luggage. Very sweet.
Even though we were forewarned about the sound of the pump in washroom, we weren’t expecting it to be that loud and running that often. The washroom is right behind the bed, so it will wake you up.
The place was pretty clean, except the washroom and the entrance.
Bed was comfortable and floors were clean.
Location was great for where we needed to be. Beautiful neighbourhood....

「My wife, son and I booked a 14 day stay at this location. On the DAY OF CHECK IN - the host cancels the reservation due to a gas leak in the basement (the gas line was a plastic hose). NO hote water. My wife, son, myself, and our two dogs - no place to go.Why did she not check out her gas lines any sooner?Anyway - trying to get another 14 day stay for my family and two dogs - virtually impossible. 「We were not allowed in to the apartment due to a plumbing issue. A plumber was coming but we were not contacted when the problem was fixed. We found other accommodation so we could get to the show we were in town for. All attempts to reach the host were ignored. It has taken 10 days and 5 Vrbo agents to hopefully get a refund. This has left a very negative experience for using vrbo. I have always been very happy with vrbo, but it will be a while before I use them again. The support team from vrbo...
