From the moment you drive into Beacon Lakes you're greeted by a beautiful, shady oak grove, then stately palms followed by a resort-like swimming pool/ cabana/clubhouse. It's at this very moment that you realize you've made the right choice:-)

This lovely, renovated space with its coastal decor features two bedrooms and two full bathrooms with a sitting balcony off the second bdrm. A lanai off the living room overlooks a beautiful lake & canal, and you can even fish for bass, bluegill, catfish.

The condo stays comfortable year-round with new a/c-heat, and ceiling fans through out. Large, picture windows and large slider glass doors surround the living & dining room allowing you to enjoy the outside waterway with the palm trees and wildlife (Ruby-red Spoonbills, Seagulls, Red Sand Cranes, Blue and White Herons, Ibis, turtles, Mallard ducks, an occasional otter & eagle) without having to go outside.

Whether you're in the well-equipped kitchen cooking or eating in the dining room or just lounging in the cozy living room with the built-in electric fireplace, a beautiful, peaceful and serene water view is presented.

This terrific spot has an attached carport which can accommodate two vehicles.

Quaint, downtown New Port Richey with all of its nightlife, bistros, restaurants and activities is under a 10 minute drive. Grocery stores, urgent care, beautiful parks on waterways, are within a 2 mile drive.

Beacon Lakes is a 55+, relaxing and quiet, no pet community. There's a beautiful resort-like pool area/cabana with workout facility and clubhouse where everyone comes together to enjoy games, activities, and food; it's a very active community if you want it to be.

The renters are required to pass a background check and if you have a guest staying overnight, you must complete a one-page form notifying the HOA. This unit is upstairs (14 steps with one Landing in the middle) with no elevator. There are only four condos per building creating lots of green space. Once inside the home, there are two different levels i.e., one step-down into the Lanai (no hand railing) and one step-down into the balcony off the second bedroom (no hand railing). Otherwise, the unit is level.

There are several close & quaint communities such as: Tarpon Springs with its sponge docks and so many restaurants and shops, has a strong Greek influence (sponge divers still operate out of this town. If you own a sponge, it probably came from them :-), with very fresh seafood from the incoming fishing boats; Dunedin, Safety Harbor, and Largo are equally charming towns that must be visited.

Within a 2-mile drive, there is a boat rental facility where you can rent a pontoon boat and take it out to one of our many beautiful and nearby barrier islands. Three mile long Ancolote Island, with its sugar white sand and emerald green water, is the nearest providing excellent swimming, snorkeling, picnicking, for seashells, and there is an old working lighthouse you can explore.

On your boat ride out you may see dolphin swimming alongside you. Several years ago, this particular Island was named by USA Today as the number one barrier island in America. Overnight, primitive camping is allowed at no charge; just notify the rangers when and where on the island you will be camping.
