Great cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was very clean, the furniture and beds were very comfortable. The fireplace makes it nice and cozy! Communication was spot on with Jeff. I highly recommend Hawks Nest!

New years getaway

This was our second time at this location. The lodge is as described. Clean and well equipped with what you need. We enjoy visiting downtown Berlin, Lehman’s Heini’s Cheese Chalet and on the way home a stop at J. M. Smucker store. And of course, celebrating New Years with a cozy fire while waiting for the New York Ball to drop. A nice getaway to relax and unwind from the busyness of the holiday season. Highly recommended staying here!!

Intimate Getaway

My wife and I loved staying here. It was clean, nicely laid out, and it’s in a great location. Lounging in the cabin in front of the fireplace was a nice escape for us.

Amazing Anniversary trip

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was beautiful, spacious and well maintained. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Everything from booking to checkout went very smoothly. The location was great for so much shopping and places to eat, but also just far enough away to have a quiet space to return to. We were able to have a fire and grill, as well as have everything we needed to cook indoors If we chose to during our 3 night stay. We would definitely recommend staying here and will be returning in the future ourselves.!!

Nice winter getaway

We've stayed in the area many times in various hotels and cabin suites. This was our first time in this grouping. Communication was easy. Self check in.Suite was clean.Fireplace cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Live TV, internet. Everything was as pictured/advertised. The only SLIGHT issue would be the sofa has been well used and was a bit low for two seniors, which brought about a few laughs, but its not worth not giving 5 stars. We'd definately choose staying again in the future.

Nice location with easy access to downtown Berlin. Cozy cabin and nice Jacuzzi tube with oven, fridge and microwave. Clean and open bathroom. The couch cushions were so used you sat barely a foot above the ground. It needs to be replaced. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful.

A little surprised

Although we enjoyed our time at the cabin, which was very nice. I did think the pictures from the internet were a little misleading. We thought we had rented a full cabin that was just ours and private. However, I think there was actually 4 units in our complex. Don't get me wrong, it was nice but, not at all what we expected. In the end, if you had people staying next to you that were loud or on the wild side, it could totally ruin your stay. We were lucky, that didn't happen. But, the main reason we wanted to stay in a cabin vs. a hotel was for silence and privacy and unfortunately, the way this was set up, it would COMPLETELY depend upon what kind of people were next to you...and nobody wants a getaway's good time hinging on other people.

Beautiful cabin

What a beautiful cabin, it has everything you need for a lovey couples retreat. The view from the back porch is nice and you can sit in the rocking chairs and enjoy nature.

The tv reception keep reloading. My mistake was not seeing that the jacuzzi was up in the loft, my wife can’t do stairs. The heat/ac was loud.
