First, the good things, the house is deceptively large, lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and space.Only issues with the property itself: the fridge had some sticky stuff seeping out of the bottom; not all the lights in the rooms worked; and a couple bathrooms had a bad water smell.The main issue with this property is the location. The property is isolated on what feels like a not so safe street. If you are considering this property, do a Google Maps 360 degree view to see the terrain.As for the proximity to the French Quarter, technically, you could walk to Bourbon street from here, but it's a hike. And it's a hike through a rough looking area. The hike goes under I-10, however that portion of the route seemed to have a police presence stationed underneath the overpass pretty regularly. I am not sure why they were hanging out there so much.

While it was acceptable and clean, the place needs attention -- lights don't work, no lamps, washing machine doesn't spin much at all, etc. Would not stay there again unless I knew for certain that things had been addressed. Beds were good, however,

Great stay

The house was lovely and had everything we needed for six adults. The area looked a little sketchy however everyone that we met were really friendly. It was walking distance to a lot of good tourist spots. There is an excellent supermarket 950m away that has a good selection of food and drinks.

Very Clean and close enough to all the sights for an easy stay. We didn’t feel super comfortable walking in the neighborhood, under all the overpasses to get to places, so we mostly took cars. The kitchen and rooms could use some attention in stocking necessities for comfort. There were also some broken or items in need of repair such as a bedroom lamp, one bed frame, alarm system and fire alarm batteries. Nice enough inside for our stay.

Blue House

House was lovely. Exactly as the pictures. Hosts are easily reached and responsive. The neighborhood is more industrial than expected. There is a church right next door. Enthusiastic congregation. Expect to be up fairly early if you are here on a Sunday industrisl than expected

Spacious Home

My family and I stayed for the Thanksgiving Holiday and the house was perfect. The location is minutes away from the interstate and downtown New Orleans. Pat was friendly and communicated fast. The house was very spacious even though we didn’t utilize all the beds. The neighborhood looks a little shabby but we are from New Orleans so that didn’t bother us it was peaceful and quiet at night. Would definitely book again!

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The owners were responsive to any request. The house was well maintained and had a fantastic sound system. You can’t beat the location of this property and it being so close to all of the popular spots in New Orleans.

Roomy, Nice, and Great Location!

This was a very comfortable property for a large group! Within walking distance of two street car stops. Awesome sound system in the living room!
