Nicely decorated but sparse seating

This house is beautiful inside. Very comfortable king size beds. Lots of space. The neighborhood looks like it might be rough but it is not actually. It was a very quiet and peaceful place. Some small areas for improvement though. There were four of us and three dining room chairs. There is one small sofa in the living room, not enough for all of us to sit. More seating in the front room would be great. The bathrooms were nice, except the hall bath toilet wobbles when you sit. Overall, I can definitely recommend this property to someone looking for a quiet hideaway in NOLA.

Great Place to Stay! Close to everything!

this was our first time in new orleans so we were kind of nervous on booking this house but glad we ended up choosing this one. the owner of this place was very fast in responding and helped us in everything we needed. we stayed here for 4 nights and had sooo many things to do + more. the bedrooms were big and one of them connects to the other one which was unexpected but everything else looked nice. the beds were super comfy, one of the best we’ve slept in. one thing i do have to say though, the roads in nola are to drive catious in since potholes are everywhereee. other than that we really enjoyed this place & when we come back to new orleans, i’ll rent again :)

Inaccurate Listing, poor communication

The furniture was NOT at all like in the photos. All the bedroom sets have been replaced with cheap furniture. There was only one couch. No desk in bedroom. 3 chairs at kitchen table. Decor not like in the photos, either. It's like the photos were taken to sell the property and everything inside replaced now that it's a rental. The kitchen was clean but bare minimum (not even salt/pepper!). No laundry detergent like in the photo. No broom to sweep up, no cleaning supplies under the sink. After it rained there was a 6" deep puddle to get through the front gate, and believe me it was not something you could jump over so take off your shoes and socks and roll up your pants! Owner did drop off an air mattress and pump since there was only one couch and we needed two for sleeping arrangements. After that ZERO communication from owner after pointing out the other issues and misleading photos. Would not suggest this property due to the misleading details and bad communication.

A good place to land

This house is very sweet and is an easy place to stay while exploring New Orleans. The beds and couches are comfortable. One thing to note: the kitchen is equipped with extremely basic cookware and is not set up for cooking much. Thanks for having us!

before subjecting yourself and guests to lackluster accommodations, do a google map of the surroundings and DO NOT arrive at night. This is not the "charming cottage" described and the pictures do not accurately reflect the poor layout - broken door to the outside that's in the bedroom. Staff was unresponsive to issues.

Perfect for four!

We loved everything about our stay! We were able to check in early which gave us the chance to walk to the nearby grocery store and stock up before ubering into downtown. Security was great-even a “ring” doorbell. There are actually three beds-two kings and a queen -so we were able to spread out. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone visiting NOLA!!!

Exactly what we were looking for

We had a great experience. We were looking to get a whole house to ourselves, and this was one of the few we found. Our flight to New Orleans arrived very early, and the homeowner was kind enough to let us do an earlier check-in, which was extremely helpful. The house is conveniently located, so it’s not far from anywhere you would want to go. Everything was about a 10-20 minute ride depending on where you were going. To be honest when we first got there we were a little skeptical about the location, but we had no issues whatsoever. The house is very specious which was perfect for the small group we had (the pictures don’t show, but they added a third bed). The house was clean, from the living room, to the bedrooms and the bathrooms. The homeowner was very helpful and accommodating. He was nice enough to leave us a bottle of wine, and k-cups for coffee. He even suggested a few places we could visit, and told us about a few things going on that weekend. We weren’t there much since we would be out most of the day, but it was a nice place to come home to. We would definitely come back

The worst experience ever... the place was mody and it took 2days to be relocated.

The worst experience ever... the place was mody and it took 2days to be relocated. After being told several times that you all wouldn’t accommodated me by getting me relocated. Then when you all finally got me relocated, you put me down in a hotel that was one room, double full size beds. So it was very uncomfortable stay for three adult women.

Charming house in great location

The house is very nicely decorated and furnished. Check in was a breeze and everything was thought of for our stay even down to the razor's and makeup wipes. We enjoyed how all the bedrooms were not up against one another. In a great location with easy access to everything. Our only suggestion is add some window coverings as the current blinds don't do the trick to keep sunlight out while trying to sleep and provide a blow dryer. Other than that we would stay there again. We loved how it was decorated so much we even tracked down the artist of some pieces hanging so we could go buy one for ourselves.
