「Great place!」

「Booked six months in advance. Hoast cancelled the night before after confirming in email. Reason was cross platform booking. So the host and VRBO had us scrambling for other accommodations at the last minute. This was a memorial weekend for my deceased daughter’s birthday. Wholly unacceptable」

「Tranquil location in the woods, a doe and baby greeted us as we pulled up. Nice place to spend the night before an early college move-in. Very quiet. It was a little spendy, but for one night and under the conditions a great alternative to hotels. Literally only one thing would make the stay better: there was a mysteriously missing shower door. Very comfortable beds though, and a big screen TV with streaming services.」

「It was a clean and comfortable place to stay. The kids had tons of fun on the river and the nearby Island park was a great place to have a family picnic. Lewisburg is nearby with plenty of things for grownups as well. The driveway looks steeper than it actually is so don’t let that deter you from staying here.」

「This cute little house worked perfect for us! Kitchen had everything we needed, outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine, laundry was helpful, and the beds were comfortable. Maybe less full pillows, but otherwise great. Modern and clean! Loved the photo of the dog in Lane Stadium! Close to restaurants, grocery, theater, and Virginia Tech!」

「We had an amazing stay! The owner was absolutely wonderful—so responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making our trip great. The property itself was perfect for us. It’s in a quiet, peaceful area but still super convenient to everything—easy drive to Virginia Tech, Christiansburg, and nearby hiking spots. Also Food Lion is right down the street for the convenience of shopping! We loved being close to so many fun things while still feeling tucked away and relaxed. The location really...

「We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...
