The house was in a great location, only a few blocks from the main street in town. It's walking distance to good restaurants and the beach. The house was clean and had enough space, but there where a couple of small issues. First, all the hand soaps in the bathrooms were either empty or near empty. The bed in the main bedroom is very soft and not for people with any back issues. Also, there is no dishwasher unless you count the two soapy hands we brought, but it is on the amenity list in the listing - not a great surprise! That said, overall, it's a nice little house that met our basic needs in a great location.

Location

Short walks to pretty much anything. Full grocery store, restaurants, shops, and the beach. Beach is furthest and it’s only 7/10 of a mile on paved sidewalks. Would absolutely stay here again

Warm & Cozy Retreat

What a great winter retreat! Loved the decor, the property management, and most especially the fireplace. The kitchen had everything I needed to make some great meals. Great oversized hot tub too. Unfortunately, the jets didn’t work, but still a great way to relax and unwind after a long day climbing the dunes. Great location too! 100% would come back again!

This property was perfect for our weekend stay. We had a group of 5 adults who were in New Buffalo for a girls trip. The location of the property was in walking distance to everything we needed. The house itself was cozy, but not too small. We had adequate space to spread out. Overall, we would stay here again!

Visit too short!

What a cute, peaceful place to stay! Unfortunately, we were only there for a couple nights and didn't get to take full advantage of everything it had to offer. Loved that it was in walking distance of downtown New Buffalo and the immediate surrounding area! Will stay here again when we get back to the area!

Quaint cottage in the heart of New Buffalo

It was our first visit to New Buffalo and we wanted to stay within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and coffee shops. The Nantucket Cottage checked off those boxes. We loved being so close to restaurants and the beach. We walked everywhere which was great. The communication with the host was excellent. They recommended we check out the library for our 20 month old and it was one of the hi-lights of the trip. The library has an amazing children’s play area.

Great getaway!

A cozy and quaint cottage located within easy walking distance to just about everything we wanted, especially the beach! Friendly town, great food, beautiful beach. Just what we needed!
