Quaint Cottages in Canyon Lake! Perfect for kids!

Welcome to Millie’s - Josephine. Cottages maintain their original 1970’s charm, now transformed into contemporary, comfortable gems with the best sunsets in all of Canyon Lake.

Currently Canyon Lake levels are at a historic low and lake access from Millie's is limited. Please visit the MyCanyonLake website for more information under the category of lakes and rivers.

Creature comforts include:
· Queen bed and a full over queen bunk bed (sleeps 6)
· Living area with dining table, couch, WiFi, Smart TV (bring your logins), games, puzzles, books, etc.
· A cozy kitchen including Galanz fridge/freezer, electric range/oven, microwave, coffee maker (of course), blender, toaster, dishes, drinkware, flatware, knives, cooking tools, bakeware, pot holders, BBQ tools, dish soap, first aid kit, and more. Customized Yeti cups are available for purchase if you’d like to take Millie’s home with you.
· Beautiful, full bath – including towels, hairdryers, and bathing suit hangers.
· Outdoor seating area including a charcoal BBQ pit (BYO - meat, veggies, charcoal and lighter fluid), picnic table, and chairs.
· 1 wagon/cottage and beach towels.
· Parking – 2 cars/cottage or 1 car and a boat maximum.
· Proximity to Canyon Lake Boat Ramp #17 (currently closed), Canyon Lake Dam, Brookshire Brothers Grocery, Gruene, shopping, restaurants, watercraft rentals and more.

As the property boasts the perfect combination of convenience and seclusion, wild things abound. We’ve seen those that slither, sting, stink, spray and graze so be aware of your surroundings and who you share it with.

Speaking of sharing – there will be other guests on the property with you in other cottages.

*The health and safety of our guests is paramount. Cleanliness is always our top priority. We offer a 24 hour guest service contact number for emergencies and messages will be answered promptly. Arrive after four o’clock when it is convenient for you with an easy and contactless check in and out process for our guests.

Absolutely loved it

Definitely will return back to this location only thing I could complain about was unfortunately Texas was have a bad drought so the river was not there at all, but hey that Texas.

Propert was very clean but need to update picutees on website... Lake is not close by and not swimmable when we got to it. But it was a comfy cottage that we enjoyed. Rather be close to lake but thank you allowing my family and i to enjoy your property

Nature getaway w/ all the amenities

Me and my family enjoyed the serenity and views! Our cottage was charming and the kids loved the spacious bunk beds! We will be visiting again!

Nice little cabin

Thanks, really enjoyed our stay. Just a tip--some of the furniture legs (couch, dining chairs) were loose, so probably want to tighten those.

Just Perfect

The cabin was small but perfect for a couple or small group. The place was decorated so well and had everything we needed it. The back of the property was so nice, with a picnic table, grill and the lake just a few steps away. I will definitely be back!

Everything was so clean and nice. But the website has mentioned this is a Riverview property and it WASNT. The river is a long walk from where we stayed.

Deception

The cabin is comfortable but the creek is totally dried behind it and the lake is 20 min walk through brush n stickers. To top it off the only access to the damm or lake was closed. You have the Guadaloupe to tube but its paked. We got luckky because my son is military and we paid to access the lake but no beach because its so low.

Weekend getaway

We loved staying here. We called to extend our stay, the lady was very sweet to extend our stay, & even told us since we are checking out at on Christmas Eve, we have till noon to check out on that day. Everything was nice until we got a rude voicemail from Emery at Hill County to pack up & leave & that check out time is at 10am. When clearly the paperwork said 11am even the rules paper in the cottage said 11am. I explained to her that I talked to a lady yesterday that extended our reservation & told us we had till noon. Emery was really rude.

Absolutely adorable

We really enjoyed our stay at Millie’s Waterfront Cabins! The lake access was convenient and the grounds were beautiful. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of four to get away and relax for a few days. We are hoping to return when the weather is warmer.

Perfect getaway!

We had so much fun roasting hot dogs and marshmallows on the fire. The beach access down at the lake Is perfect for our 3 year old to play at and throw rocks in! We had a relaxing time in the hammock, watching Netflix inside, driving to Brookshire Brothers which is less than 5 min away for extra snacks and coffee! Overall perfect location and clean property and house. :)

Perfect for a couple’s getaway

Two nights in early January at the Josephine will always be remembered by my wife and I. The cabin was cozy and immaculately appointed, down to the littlest detail. It was warm and inviting and we hated to leave. We plan to return soon.

Perfect Getaway

All amenities were very nice and high quality. Linens for beds and bath towels were great.. similar to ones from home. All kitchen items were new and very good quality. No need to bring anything from home. We were very impressed and will be back.

Little Gem!

This was a spectacular place on the lake feet from the water. It was a peaceful escape to say the least. It was also within walking distance from a boat ramp. I would highly recommend this and plan on on returning soon.
