This suite is located up stairs with a balcony overlooking New Braunfels. Right outside your door there are several women's boutiques, restaurants, specialty popcorn store, & two unique bars. Ask us about golf cart rentals + country club access.

Easy access to the property in a safe location. Just a short walk to great bars, with Last Call and Gruentini’s being must-visits. Definitely a hidden gem! Would stay here again.

Fun weekend in Gruene

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Gruene guesthouse. It was just a weekend and we spent our time in and around Gruene for a concert. The guesthouse is well appointed, snd has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It could use some room-darkening shades for nighttime, as the nearby shops and offices have very bright lights that can make it tough to sleep.

this was in a great location located in a little village with shopping centers, and a coffee shop right next-door. The place was big and had everything you needed. Had lots of windows and it was decorated with cute, farmhouse, decorations. The shower was amazing. It was a very large walk in shower. I’m glad I found this place because we stay in Gruene a lot.

Perfect Location/Price

This is the perfect place to drag your husband! Situated in the middle of shopping/dining/drinks! You can walk across the driveway or next door to avoid driving…or take a golf cart to downtown Gruene for more shopping/dining/eating with your designated driver. We plan to be back for Christmas shopping in a few months. Only complaint is having to take our own trash out to the dumpster…but not a deal breaker.

Great stay in Gruene

The Gruene Gusthaus was a great place to stay on our weekend away. A short 5min drive to downtown Gruene and 10min tops to downtown New Braunfels. There’s a martini bar, cocktail bar, coffee shop and upper scale restaurant within walking distance! I will heed warning that if you need complete darkness to sleep, beware! There’s blinds on the windows but the cute street outside has lights strung across and it does give quite a bit of light to the room at night. Take an eye mask! Communication with the host was good & she calmed our nerves during the scare of evacuations during the floods.

Great location away from hustle and bustle but close enough to historic district. Large room and bathroom. Could have more hangers. The blinds were broke on one window and the place reallllly could use some curtains because the lights outside were shining in and lighting up the whole room even with the blinds closed which made it very hard to sleep. The hot water ran out very very fast - was not very hot to start with and ran out after one shower. The ceiling fan has to be changed by standing on the sofa. It was weird we had to take the trash out at the other end of the property. Shouldn’t that be included in the cleaning fee? Don’t mean to sound negative because it’s a great location and private but wanted to leave an honest review. All these things could be easily fixed though by the owner.
