Comfortable Goreme base.

Lovely hotel, easy walk into Goreme but v quiet. Super comfortable bed, lovely garden with hammock style chairs and tables. Great spot for morning coffee. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Easy parking and nice buffet breakfast.

Overall ok

Good location to all restaurants and hikes. Some hard sell for tours etc from the front desk. Rooms are large but dated and could do with modernisation. Breakfast could be improved significantly and layout of food and coffee should be reorganised so thete is more space for guests

The interior of the rooms was not up to par, had a old dirty feel to it. Do not be fooled by the name, it is not a cave hotel at all. But the bathroom was great and very well equipped. They provided a very good breakfast. It is in a very convenient area, all the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The front desk worker was nice and tried to help to the best of his abilities. Overall our stay was alright.

Cosy stay in Cappadocia

Hotel seems to be family run, friendly and helpful staff. No daily housekeeping and some items like lighting fixture need minor repair, but overall experience was good. Beeakfast was ok too. Hotel is in central area of cappadoccia, quite ambiance.

Quiet and in contact with nature

This hotel is located inland, about 15/20 minutes away from the busy coastline. It is immerse in nature and it’s only a few meters away from a stream. This makes the place very charming and relaxing. The room itself was a wooden bungalow which made the experience even more naturalistic. Of course everything was very clean. The owners have been super hospitable and made sure we had what we needed. We were traveling with two small children (about three years old) who absolutely loved the place (of course we kept an eye on them). Breakfast was set up outside on picnic tables, there was variety of fresh Turkish cheeses, some jam, fresh bread, olives, tea, cucumber and tomato salad. They also made us a nice omelette. I would definitely go back and I recommend it to anyone that wants a quiet and relaxing experience.

Central location, friendly staff, great visit!

I've been to Cappadocia a few times but this was my first stay at Empire Cave. Really central location. The staff were friendly, with good recommendations for things to do. The room was lovely (although their pillows were not great... pet peeve) Overall I had a great visit and have already suggested it to my family.
